I had a very big glass cut on the tire. I did not think or my mechanic thought it would work on sealing the tire.
It did! And has been keeping the Tufo tire seal for the last 6 months now.

I continue to be amazed at how well this works at fixing punctures. I was riding down the shoulder of a local highway notorious for flat tires and, sure enough, I picked up a large construction staple through my tire (Tufo Elite Ride). Given the size of the thing and the fact I now had two large holes in my tire, I was sure I'd be pulling the tire off. But I decided to give the sealant a try anyway. After unclogging the nozzle (the one problem with using a bottle that's already been opened), I squirted about 15ml into the tire, replaced the valve core and added a just a little CO2 to give it a bit of firmness. Spun the tire around so the holes were at the bottom to allow the sealant to do its thing. After a minute or two, I filled the tire the rest of the way. To my amazement, the pressure held. That was a couple hundred miles ago and the tire is still holding pressure fine.
