I bought a set of these after considering going back to a tubular set up. I was looking for the feel, speed, and sound of tubulars without the glue and ritual of simply changing a tire.
These tires really exceeded my expectations. They are super fast and lite, and have that familiar high pressure tubular hum.
Just make sure you put enough sealant into them. I recently flatted and I didn't put enough sealant in, and it didn't work. I had to catch a cab ride! There is no real way you are going to hold a spare one of these while you ride, unless you ride with a backpak, which most roadies don't do. I bought a new tire to replace the flat one, and used a large syringe (without the needle) to inject the sealant inside the valve tube. I was able to get more in there, and without some of the spillage I incurred the first time.
They do cut a little more easily than some of my other clincher tires. I inspect them after each rise and fix any little cuts with rubber cement. It seems to do the trick just fine.
They can be a pain to get on, but they are worth it. Look at their videos on youtube to see a demo of proper installation. I pre stretched mine and they got on ok.
Worth the money! You will like them!
