I have been an avid bicyclist continuously since 1972. I have several male cycling friends die from prostate cancer over those 52 years (I'm writing this in 2024). I read early on in that cancerous debacle how merely riding a split-rail saddle could alleviate the pressure on the prostate
So starting in the early 1990s, I standardized all of my bikes on the Terry Ti-Fly saddle. Ever since then, during my annual physical exam, I specifically ask that the PSA panel be run during my blood test. I'm willing to pay extra for the peace of mind just to see a PSA count less than 1.0 every year. It always puts a smile on my face! Money well spent.
In memory to "Red" Davis, John B, Phil H, and many others who have not been so fortunate.

Replaced the original Specialized saddle that came with my Roubaix (SWEET bike!!). I was experiencing some painful saddle sores and no amount of adjustment or 'goup' provided any relief.
What a difference with the Terry Fly Ti! I've given it a good test over the past 3 weeks and no sores!
Saddle sits pretty 'firm' but is comfortable. The seat cover texture is not too slick.

For me this saddle is comfortable not only for short intense rides put also longer Pursuits like centuries. Also extremely durable has they last for years. I have only had to replace 1 in the last 15 years and that was due to an accident which unfortunately ripped the saddle up very badly.

I have used this saddle since 1999, and it is on every bike I own. When I built my Serotta I did so with a Fizik because it was the sexy most popular saddle at the time, that lasted for about 2 weeks. Then I repented of my sinful indulgence, I removed the Fizik and gave to a friend of mine that rides them and got another Terry Fly Ti and have lived happily ever after.

I have had this saddle on my road bike for 8 years now. I have done many 100 mile rides with this saddle an have NEVER had any problems. My real love is mountain biking. I have tried many different mountain bike saddles. They have all caused saddle sores, chapped butt, and many dollars wasted. Finally (during a long mountain bike ride) it dawned on me, why not get this same saddle for my mountain bikes. So I got and and I love it on my mountain rig. It has a short nose and gel padding which make it extremely comfortable on bumpy trails. I am a female with narrow hips so woman saddles are way to big for my profile. However, most of the men's saddles are a bit to narrow for my hips. This one is just right. I might just put it on ALL of my bikes now, including my indoor trainer.

I have used the Terry Fly for many years and find the saddle reasonably comfortable on long rides

Very comfortable and lightweight. Also, the material does not get tacky when wet.

I bought this saddle based on the outstanding reviews. However, I could get only get 10 miles into a ride before it would start to hurt. Some riding positions were worse than others. I tried numerous adjustments but never could find that sweet spot. I think it's more to do with me than with the saddle. I've come to the conclusion that saddles with a cutout like this are more uncomfortable. I found the Fizik Arione Versus with a depressed middle area to be much more comfortable. I will say the Terry Fly saddle construction was good and the foam density was just right. I also like the textured cover so I'm not sliding around on it.

I am a small female racer and this saddle has been my only choice for all my bikes, mountain and road racing, from 2 hour to 25 hour solo events. Great quality, comfort and style. And it's not just for men!

My previous saddle was the Terry Firefly which was discontinued but basically the same saddle as the Fly Ti. I've ridden the Terry saddle for over 5 years and attempted to switch to a Fizik to save some weight and just try a different one but no go. The various Fizik models I tried just were not comfortable so I'm sticking with what works. I love the look and quality of this saddle plus it's comfortable and fairly lightweight .

I tried the Terry Fly because I was looking for protection from injury on long rides, but was concerned that the Fly would be too soft. I was pleasantly surprised to find the Fly firm, that it fit immediately and provides the same solid base, energy transfer and free back-and-forth movement as the Fisik and Selle Italia Flight saddles I am used to. The shape is very much a racing saddle - flat from front to back with a sharp radius between wider seat and narrow nose - giving free leg movement and the option to move to the front during hard effort. I got what I was looking for - enough padding and large relieved section to help prevent injury in the long run, and also the fit and support of the racing saddles I have used up to now.

I ride this saddle on all my road bikes except my touring bike. It is a great every day saddle and I have worn out several over the years. This saddle is good for training rides and those more challenging rides like centuries. I have had very few saddle sore issues with the Terry Fly, hence I keep coming back to purchase my replacement saddles.

I could not get much beyond 5 miles with the stock seat that came with my bike before the pain became unbearable. After a recommendation from a respected bike fitter and some further research, I settled on this saddle. It took a few rides to settle in, but I no longer even give it thought, I just ride and enjoy. I ride somewhere between 10-20 miles a day (roughly 95 miles a week), and have even endeavored several 25-35 mile rides (which I never would have even thought of attempting with the previous seat). I am a 61-year-old, 140 lbs, male and am enjoying cycling all the more thanks to this saddle.

I had an old Terry FireFly which basically is the same saddle as the Terry Fly. Why change when the saddle works. Very comfy and a nice leather cover, looks good too. Weight is low also. Going to buy a second one for my other bike.
