Absolutely awesome. For those who have spent their lives riding on the edge of traction off road, these are perfect. I ride full blown mountain bike trails here in the hills of the Bay Area and regularly get lazy and do 50 mile road rides and am able to keep pace with buddies on their road bikes. I used to love the Donnely MXP, but this is superior.
Supple and flat free after 8 months.
Highest recommendations.

I put a set of these on my bike for the recent Open Range 200k Gravel Race. The race included a huge variety of soil types - this year including more deep, sugary sand than anyone would have liked. The Elwood (Tough) rolled fast on pavement and fast sections, remained stable in the rough, craggy, eroded sections, and handled deep sand as well as anything short of a fatbike tire. On the short, steep climbs, the tire provided excellent grip. (The bike was carrying just over 180 pounds and I inflated the tires to 3540. I probably could have gone down a couple more pounds.) The tires performed and were completely trouble-free.

This is the best gravel tire for grinder rides with some difficulty. Gravel ride course ratings (If you heard about that) for level 3 and 4 courses. However, it does well anytime, anywhere even the road as it rolls pretty fast. When I want to not worry about a grinder event, this is the tire. In fact, it is the best! Holds air very well, no flats, comfortable and fast.

After one ride on a set of Panaracer Gravel King SK tires, I bought these Terrene Elwoods. The Panaracers have stiffer sidewalls that echo vibrations and bumps into the bike and rider, even after adjusting pressures. I also encountered some self steering that is a little unnerving at first.
With the Terrene Elwoods, I immediately felt a much smoother ride, they feel like they roll faster with the smoothness and no self steering issues. They setup tubeless very easy and hold pressure well. I would rank them very close to the Schwalbe Thunder Burt in all categories except for volume. Overall, I dig these tires.

For riding gravel when the course is more challenging than a flat road, when you want to go where MtnBikes go, this is an excellent choice. In fact, it's an excellent choice for any gravel ride. Fast, comfortable, not prone to flats, and a joy to ride. I have tried a lot of tires for gravel.
