I use this on my road bike. Many road bikers who use tubeless plugs know that it can be difficult to insert plugs into small holes. It usually involves reinflating the tire to widen the hole to insert a plug. My point is that it generally takes a lot of force to get the plug in. I've broken stem on two of these trying to get the plug inserted. I like Stan's, so I've bought a third. Hopefully I figure out a technique that works without breaking it. If you rely on Dart's out on the road, you better carry at least 2 CO2 Carts and alternate plug tool until you figure out how to use these.

I've used Stan's Darts to repair four large punctures in road tires and they worked every time. Yay.
But, on a very hot day on a tire that had been plugged with a Dart for over a thousand miles, the Dart blew out. I tried a fresh Dart, but it also blew out after a short period on the same ride. So, tube time.
The tire had a lot of miles on it and the Dart worked for over a thousand miles, so I guess I'm pretty happy with the Darts. I no longer believe that they are always a completely permanent repair.

If you use Stan's darts, you're eventually going to need refills.

These were a bit of a challenge to use on GP 5000, but great the few times I've needed them in my gravel tires, Challenge Getaway in 40.

Have been using it with stans sealant. Finally had chance to use it during a gravel ride and it stopped a ~2mm side wall hole to get me back home. Recommended!

I use these for both road and gravel tires. I was a little leery using them on road tires but they work and are for the most part unnoticeable. They are much faster than removing the tire and trying to install a tube or a boot. The only caveat is, twist the barb in, don't rock it back and forth. Rocking it is how you break it off.

These darts are expensive but quite effective! I was able to save a racing tire that had a big puncture and that the usual bacon strip couldn't do the job.

Easiest plug I've ever used. Works great!

Used once on a puncture too big to self-seal. Worked perfectly although it took some strength to work the plug into the tight puncture hole.

Great deal. Dart fabric bonds quickly with the sealant and stops leaks. I wish the dart tool was a bit more sturdy but these refills are a great value and really ease my mind on longer rides.
