I had a spare silver SRAM 12 speed chain but when the rainbow colored chains came out I had to have one and my spare went by the way of online auction! My bike frame is matte black so the chain looks super nice with that color! I was thinking it was a little crazy to replace my spare just for appearance sake but after I installed the new chain I was glad I did. Always nice to sit back with a cup of coffee and give your pride and joy a look over! Concerning performance and value, SRAM 12 speed flattop chains are not cheap but they are a good overall value since it has been my experience that they last a really long time over other traditional chains. Rainbow chains for me from here on out!

The Rainbow color gives a unique look to the drivetrain. Runs quiet, smooth & shifts perfectly. I stripped & waxed the chain straight out of the box 10/10 - highly recommend. I have put over 1k miles on the chain so far with little to no stretch.

I never had issues with SRAM chains with exception with "shipping" lube. it is little harder to remove before hot wax treatment. This is one received same treatment and works perfectly with AXS drivetrain. shifting is spot on and is very quiet due to wax. When weather gets better will do more miles while still riding AXS system with slat top chain with special . meanwhile I am riding CX bike with 11s regular SRAM 22 chain.

Love the rainbow slick chain with matching cassette, it goes great with my bike.

This chain has been worth the extra costs. I am keeping it lubed and that has seemed to add to the chain's life.

Been buying SRAM Red 12 speed chains for years. They're reliable, light, and look great. Rainbow/oil slick is a nice touch too. Highly recommended!
