I was buying the bobo brand of these for a bit, as spares, then they became 'look they're fine', until they aren't. Not saying the real ones won't fail at some point, but they won't fail in a month at random. Catch a sale and do it right.

Haven't actually used it, but it did charge.

I needed an extra AXS battery and this fits the bill. It fits easily in my bag, now I never run out of juice in the middle of a ride.

I have been through several of these with lots of hard use on a gravel bike. The battery life tends to start shortening after several years. Light indicators on derailleur work great.

Sends the pixies from precious to the derailleur. C'est la vie.

Not much to say. It's a battery. It works. It charges up, and powers derailleurs. Wish these were a little cheaper, but that's not BTD's fault. As usual, price and service from Bike Tires Direct is a 10/10

I works. I rotate it in with my other two batteries on the bike, so have only used it for one cycle. It is a little expensive for such a small battery and just in case spare battery. Wireless shifting is so much better. I have it for my 2x12 SRAM rival wireless. During the season of 2023 I was on two different rides where another rider had to cut their ride short due to a dead SRAM derailler battery. I can't remember that last time a cable broke on a ride However it did happen to me a couple of years ago, but was able to mod it to get me home.

Very expensive for a battery, but this is the price most anywhere! But now to the review. Could you get by with only the two? Sure......if your rear goes out you can swap the front which is needed less and one can have a gear range to finish a ride. However, having both derailleurs working with a spare or even two is best for very long rides. Hold do they hold a charge and perform? Well, my usual 20 mile rides daily I get up to 7-8 rides of changing the rear anywhere from 180-250 times. The front, I get longer on but only change typical 10 times per ride. This kind of shows the battery life to those wondering. I see a lot of post on broken connectors and tabs??? I wonder sometimes if people change in haste by "monkey fisting" these things rather than taking your time which in all reality is like 5 seconds to change out??? So are they worth it? Yes......unfortunately you have to drop $60 on something SRAM has to produce these at maybe $5 each and in all reality should only be like $20 tops!

Everyone riding SRAM AXS should carry a spare battery with them, do yourself a favor and buy an extra before you learn the hard way out on the road or the trail. Also, do yourself a big favor and buy original equipment and don't mess with a knock-off battery, not worth the risk.

Buy them on sale and don't forget to remove them if you are traveling with your bike out side on the car or truck. If you only have two batteries on your bike then you should buy a couple more. Don't buy knockoffs, only buy SRAM AXS batteries. :)

Overpriced little batter but better than after market solutions. Works well, great to have a backup power source on these new superbikes.

don't choose cheap alternatives!

We recently got a new tandem bike with the SRAM eTap drivetrain. We absolutely love the new system, with just one chainring and 12 gears, ranging 10 - 52. The battery charge is supposed to be good for 25 hours, but we decided it would be a good idea to carry a spare battery during multi-day bike tours. The spare battery is small and easy to carry in a bike bag or pocket of a hydration pack. Glad the Bike Tires Direct had it in stock.

The batteries don't last all that long in the Mountain bike maybe 20 hrs. I have XO AXS, I did have a battery go dead on a ride. The light was GREENat the start of the ride. This one is going to be a spare I keep, in a storage pack, on the bike as an extra.

Wanted extra batteries just in case they are needed on one of my ultra events.

SRAM batteries come and go without any warning. It's good to have a spare. Thankfully SRAM has not changed the interface in any of their AXS systems so all batteries work the same. They are rather expensive, though, for what you get.

Bought an additional for longer rides or in case the first battery drained while riding but it's been more than a month and +3 rides a week and derailleur still flashes green so 5-8 extra hours minimum. Still a good idea to have a 2nd one. Just in case.

These batteries are small enough to fit in a saddle bag, so worth the security of a spare.

BTD insists that I file a review for a SRAM battery. So here it is...

This battery doesn't make anything special happen. It doesn't win friends or influence people. This battery (#3) just sits in my saddle bag waiting for Battery #1 or Battery #2 to die. Since I now have a spare, I expect I will never experience a dead battery out on the road. If I didn't buy a spare, #1 or #2 would die 40 miles from my house on the rainiest coldest day of the year.

That's how good this battery is. It sits in my bag and wards off death of other batteries.
