Like everything Silca, this is a premium product that just works. This tape hits the sweet spot for me -padded enough for comfort on long rides over rough road conditions without feeling too thick. Extremely durable.

Cost too much, pain to wrap, sticks to itself and truly miserable to remove from handlebars with lt splitting and tearing so that it takes forever to get it off and then its in a 100 pieces.
Ill send them money to keep it off any bike I have to work on.

The Silca tape has great grip either dry or wet. It has a nice grip without feeling sticky. For its thickness, it's surprisingly well cushioned. Compared to other tape of similar thickness, the Silca does feel more cushioned.

I love most Silca products , and while this tape feels nice and grippy, it wraps with difficulty . When trying to re-wrap the glue strip tears the tape. And its very expensive.
I have found that I like ProLogo tape from BTD better. It wraps easy and can be re-wrapped and is not too thick. I personally like a thinner tape.

Good
Easy on the hands. Tape is soft and grippy without being super-thick and squishy.
Screw-in bar plugs are included.
Butterfly pieces for covering the back of the levers are not just additional pieces of tape, theyre specially shaped and fully covered with adhesive so they stay put.
Not good
Length. Per Silcas photos, each turn should be made by placing the edge of the tape against the seam down the middle. I did this and ran out of tape on a 42cm bar.
Adhesive is strong...maybe too strong. Pulling the tape off the bar to rewrap it resulted in some of the adhesive staying put and ripping off the bottom layer of the tape.
Not easy to wrap. Must be pulled very tight at all times, still difficult to avoid wrinkles at the hoods.
Overall given that it feels similar to Fizik Vento Tacky (which doesnt have some of the problems), I dont think Id buy it again.
