I have owned a pair of 'Alba' sidi and lasts amost forever.

Had Genius 7 Mega before these and very happy with the fit and function of these shoes. Only issue is that even wearing thick socks, I need the shortest possible adjustment of the soft strap, same as with the Genius 7 shoes.

After going years with standard width bike shoes and the pinching that ensued on longer rides or during hot weather, my problems are solved. I've now done multiple long rides in hot weather with these shoes and my feet feel as good at the end as when I started. Not only that, but my power output has magically increased even on shorter rides. I should have made this switch years ago!

These shoes are very spacious and comfortable. When starting out your ride you can dial in the shoe to be as snug as you like. Then as the miles and day progresses and your feet swell you can easily reduce the tension with a quick squeeze of the boa.

I ride in an older pair of Sidi Mega, 45.5, that fit perfectly. I wanted to try the Lake wide shoes, that are promoted as accommodating a wide foot. I ordered 2 pair from BTD, a 45.5 & a 46. The 45.5 were too snug, & the 46 were too wide & too long. BTD allowed me to return both pair, & I got the new version of the Sidi Mega, 45.5. Again, fit perfectly. The Sidi's are more true to size, & wider than the Lake counterpart. No, you don't get a full carbon sole, & the Lake dial closure system is better, but the fit is superior, & that's the crucial aspect. I'm sold on the Sidi's.

I've worn Sidi Genius road shoes for years. Now that my left foot metatarsal bone on little toe has grown outward, my regular shoes rub. I researched and found these Mega Road Shoes which are made wider. That's true. Wearing them gives me more room and no rub. But they are really larger. My normal size 43 seems almost too large for me. But they are very much Sidi quality and very usable. No rear foot adjustment. Good for the price, especially on sale.

Long time road cyclist, 45 years and 300k miles. Sidi shoes are the best for comfort, and the newer closure system is slick. Checked with BTD when my old Sidis wore out, and Bingo!, saw these on sale!

Finally replaced my Performance shoes I bought about 12 years ago. Was able to buy these shoes. Long over due, to say the least. Such a great product. The fit and construction is so good. Tried some Shimano shoes, they just don't fit my feet. If you're going to do any cycling at a consistent level these are a really good option.
