OEM device with new attachment screw was quick to replace and got me back in the saddle.

I bought the Sidi Caliper Buckles to replace the broken ones on my shoes. They fit just right and they work great. I would recommend to anybody with old broken buckles. The price of buckles was also great, Bike Tire Direct had the best and cheapest price for the buckles.

The spring in my old buckles was shot, so they would bounce around and click annoyingly when I pedaled. These work perfectly as a replacement. The only caveat is that it can take some fiddling to get the strap into the buckle, so not ideal if you are a triathlete.

I ride on the dirt and the road. I have several pairs of SIDI shoes which are by far, in my opinion, the best available. They are initially expensive, but, well worth it in the long run. They seam to last forever.

have a pair of sidi genius 5s I've been riding in for the last 6+ years that fit like a pair of well worn jeans. When the spring on the buckle snapped, these new ones fit easily and do the job well. No hassles with the replacement.

Easy replacement. Remove one screw and install new buckles. Same as the originals. The springs in the buckle could be a little more durable as they are usually what breaks first but at least with SIDI most parts are replaceable and not crazy expensive.

Old buckle had a spring that broke, and replaced one. One screw and like new. A month or two the other buckle had the same issue. Guess that is why they sell them in pairs. Should have changed both at the same time

No problem to install. Works like the original to extend the life of my Sidi's.

Have to buy the new strap to match the new buckle, it is worth it.

Great replacement buckles for my old Sidi shoes. Super easy to replace, work great on those well broken shoes.

I bought my sidi shoes around fifteen years ago and they are the best and most durable bike item Ive ever purchased. I wasnt upset when the springs in both buckled broke, they still worked, the lever just flopped around when I rode. I finally broke down and got the new buckles and the compatible straps. They work a little differently from the old ones but they work great and have given my shoes many more years of life.

easy to install replace but did need the new strap for my shoe, the customer service advised I should order the strap, which I did but the product description said I didn't need to, so I saved on shipping with the advise of customer service. Also arrive quickly with the cheapest shipping option, so didn't lose any time on my bike

put the new caliper buckle on my fairly old Sidi cycling shoes. My strap had broken and almost tossed them but looked up replacement parts which Bike tires Direct had available. I had them in just a couple of days and back on my bike riding. The caliper buckles work great, no problems installing them and they hold my foot in place perfectly..

My shoes had older style buckles but this newer replacement works great and is easy to change. Actually fits a bit tighter than the old style. I love my shoes so this easy fix is a really appreciated so I can continue to use my shoes and avoid the high cost of new shoes.

I was able to install the buckles on my shoes in just a couple of minutes. All of the necessary parts for installation were included, except for the required tools which I already had. The buckles work well and I am satisfied with the outcome.

I bought these to replace the buckles on my Genius 5's (the springs on the old buckles just stopped working-both left and right simultaneously). I tried inserting the strap into the new buckle, but the strap was too big (I didn't read the part about the old strap not fitting with the new buckle). The problem was these two little plastic tabs that were preventing the strap from entering the buckle. So I cut these little tabs off and now the strap fits fine. It's not a perfect fit because once the strap is secure in the buckle, the red part is raised a bit, which tells me the newer strap is probably thinner and less wide...? This does not bother me, though, because they are functioning properly.

The new ratchets work very well. Easy motion and a definite click, whether tightening or backing off. I didn't realize that the old ones were getting progressively worse to use. I only replaced them when one broke.
