I got this chain as a second for my Wifes new bike. I hot wax our chains and have for several years. Having a second chain makes it quicker and easier when we are riding alot.

So far these chains have been great!

I've used both Ultegra and Dura-Ace chains. The Dura-Ace seems to shift smoother and faster. I don't have empirical evidence to prove it, but it just seems to work better. I wax my chains and have two of them so I can swap out after 300 miles and wax both at the same time. Big time saver.

Durable, easy to clean, and smooth shifting.

Pay a little more but gets better shifting and lighter than the other 12 sp chains. What's not to like.

I find that the M9100 chain shifts better. Your call on whether it is worth the extra cost.

Decided to purchase this chain instead of the usual XT level chain. There is definitely a difference in shifting and seemingly durability for the first 300 miles. We'll wait and see how it holds up in the future. But I love Shimano products
