Performs precisely on my road and gravel bikes. Keep your drive train clean and you'll get plenty of miles out of this chain. And I've never broken a link even in hard gunky climbs.

I was disappointed in a chain that was recommended by another store, I mixed chain with cassette only because of the quick link on the chain I purchased at the time. Shimano now offers a quick link, thus I replaced my old chain with the Shimano and the chain made a noticeable difference, less noise and cleaner shifts.

When it came time to replace my stock, worn down KMC chain, my mechanic suggested Shimano and a great suggestion it was. The Shimano is so smooth and quiet.

This is exactly what I was looking for. A nice chain to replace my current one on a cobbled together 105/Ultegra setup. These seem to last me anywhere from 500-1,000 miles for a great price.

I have run both the SRAM Force 22 and the Ultegra HG701on my 11speed Shimano Ultegra. The Ultegra/XT runs much quieter even when I have a SRAM cassette mounted.

Been buying this chain for years. I bike 12000+ miles a year and this chain holds up so well.

All I use on all my bikes is ultegra shimano chains. They do there job well and are somewhat affordable compared to others.

This chain include a quick link for connecting the chain, not the usual connecting pin. Unlike quick links made by other manufacturers this one seems to require a special tool to secure the connection. I tried pulling on the chain which works with other brands but I could not get a connection that didn't simply fall apart when the tension was released. Why couldn't they have included an old fashioned connecting pin that requires nothing more than a conventional chain tool?

Three thumbs up for a new smooth running & shifting Ultegra chain

As a heavier (190lbs all muscle) cyclist and the fact that I ride a lot of steep hills I tend to go through chains a little faster than the average person. This chain hold up well and I would recommend the Ultegra or the Dura Ace chain. If money is tighter go with the Ultegra.

It's more durable than the dura ace chain and the weight difference is negligible.
