I have been using Shimano Ultegra for 15 years and have complete confidence in the quality. A good value as well.

I live in a very hilly area, and need a 32 on the back. Would prefer a d-Ace, but it's not made. Just a 30, sooo...

I mean what can anyone say about a Shimano Ultegra 6800 cassette. They work pretty great.
I already owned an 11-32 and 11-28. I wasn't too thrilled with them for some of my super flat crits around Chicago.
So I picked up the 11-25 and couldn't be happier. With these three cassettes I feel like I have the right tools to get the job done.
11-25 is going to be great if you want to race without to much elevation change. With the tighter spacing you can shift and find your sweet spot when you are trying to hang in the peloton and waste the minimum energy.
11-28 is going to be a great all around cassette. If you aren't going to be tackling steep grades. But won't be racing either. I don't think you could go wrong with an 11-28.
11-32 is great when you get those steep grades. Couple the 11-32 with a compact crank, you will be get getting up that hill!
Other than performance the Ultegra set is a great value for the performance it delivers. If your bike is properly tuned you can expect the components to last while delivering smooth consistent performance.

Already had an 11-32 this was too wide a range for my riding thus I bought an 11-28 for daily use and the 11-32 became my spare! Great products, hard to beat shifting!

Good price for what you get

If you're on a budget for a cassette, look no further. Ultegra has always been the sweet spot for performance orientated parts from Shimano. I can purchase a 3 sets of cassettes for the price of a Dura Ace.

Great shifting with the Ultegra R8000

Smooth shifting. Great range for climbing. Heavier then Dura-Ace but much less expensive.

Flawless shifting, a little more weight than Dura Ace, but otherwise, no noticeable difference.

This is a great cassette that will stand up to abuse and keep delivering day after day. I use these cassettes on my road and cyclocross bike and they stand up to everything.

My new bike came with an 11-32 cassette. Living in Illinois, I wanted one that had more intermediate gears since I never need the largest 32 or 28 (for example) with a compact crank up front. So I bought the 12-25 which has a 15, 17 and 19 that are missing missing on the 11-32. The largest gear (25) plus the 34 up front gives me plenty of climbing range for the steeper (but shorter) grades I ride here in northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin. Since I travel to Colorado and Arizona occasionally, I will re-install the 11-32 for those trips.

Going up from a 27 to a 28 was a noticeable improvement since most of my rides are climbing and descending. Going to the 11 speed for the new Shimano groupo was a no brainer. The weight savings of the Dura Ace cassette didn't make sense since clusters wear out before other components other than cables and chains. Overall, really happy with the choice.

With 11-speed components still being fairly new I am always aware that there may be bugs. This cassette has far exceeded my expectations (though I probably should have know that coming from Shimano it would be great). well made, fits perfectly and moves smoothly. The teeth grip the chain and alow for easy shifting from 1 gar to another. Happy to have 11 usable cogs for each ring )
