Very nice gravel shoe for those who emphasize performance. These would make a good road shoe even for someone using spd pedals. Very comfortable for pedalling and easy enough to walk around in but not for someone looking for a shoe to wander around on foot.
A second BOA would be nice but for the price the velcro works fine. I got these on sale and they are a good value even w/o sale.

I bought these Shimano shoes as a 2nd pair to complement my heavy Lake MTB shoes. The RX800 shoes have a secure, comfortable fit. Add the fact that they are feather light, I have stopped wearing my Lake shoes altogether. Highly recommend for anyone with an E+ width.

Wide feet need cycling shoes too and if you're reading this, you are might also have a set of those wide feet.
The level of "easy to walk in" is between a road shoe and a rubber-soled MTB shoe. The carbon sole seems pretty durable and does not flex at all.
They also seem to dry quicker than my old MTB shoes.

Amazingly light show, great pedaling platform, but they just run a lot more narrow than S-Phyres. Definitely a race shoe. I tried to size up AND I tried the wide version and no dice. Had to go back to the heavier S-Phyres.

Love the shoes good quality but one thing they ran to small . The shoes wasn't wide enough for my feet so I had to send them back .
