Warmer and more convenient that summer shoes with a cover.
I wish I had sprung for these sooner. They are warm and much nicer than my summer shoes with a cover. I did get the wide version thinking I would need that with a heaver sock--I normally wear the normal shoe, i.e., not wide--but I could have gotten away with the nonwide version. I recommend them if you ride in 30 or 40 degree temps.
