I needed waterproof shoes that would keep me slightly warmer during winter rides in central North Carolina. I bought these a half size too large so I could wear thicker socks with them and that worked out perfectly. I wore them during 10 miles of single track in the upper thirties with moderate rain and they kept me warm and dry. I haven't tried them out in the snow yet and at this point that will have to wait until next season. The BOA system is a bonus as it's much easier to keep clean compared to Velcro or laces.

I am really enjoying these shoes. They are warm and stick to my Shimano GR500 pedals that I also purchased from Bike Tires Direct.

I bought these specifically for gravel riding through the winter in SW Pa. I've gotten a couple of rides in with them in 40-degree temps and I am impressed. They fit well. I have wide feet and normally wear an EE shoe. These have enough room in the toe box without being sloppy. The support is great and the BOA system works like a charm. I have used them with my normal socks I use for cycling and a pair of thinner ones. They are warm and the neoprene "seal" around the ankle is not irritating. I use Chester Race Face pedals and the soles of these feel like they are stuck to them. Until I don't want them to be. They are also comfortable to walk in. They are on the expensive side compared to my other riding shoes, but worth every penny.

Using for winter fat biking. Shoes are warm, comfortable and stick like glue to flat pedals. Highly recommended.
