Comfortable but I wish the tongue was longer and covered the top of the foot a little more for a bit more relief from the strap. The color also looks better in the photos, wish I'd gone with white.

The shoes are comfortable right out of the box, and at least for me there is very little break-in required. BOA dial system feels secure, and the stiff sole feels good on power climbs and strokes. Perfect for the group ride around town, and then walking around a coffee shop. It's not meant for you to walk/run a 5K, but it's comfortable enough to switch from bike to walking.

Picked up a new pair of cycling shoes for my gravel bike. Need a roomy toe box and this fit the bill, size 42 is an excellent fit for a natural size 8 - 8 1/2 American sizing. Full BOA is the only way to go. Great service from Bike Tires Direct, quick turn around and nice price to boot. I highly recommend these shoes and BTD.

I use the shoe for rides on my gravel bike and road bike. They are comfortable, and my Significant 'other likes the way they look.
