Fair priced OEM replacements that were needed for my endurance bike. 100% confidence in BTD selling Shimano parts, not knockoffs. Night and day improvement in braking with the new pads.
I'm pretty handy with a wrench, but brake pad replacements are in reach of just about every bike owner. Pad replacement is doable without having to deal with bleeding kits etc. Just pus the calipers back in with a tire lever, put in the new pads, put the wheel back in. It fits. Note that you'll likely need to recenter the brake unit by loosing the mounting bolts, centering the calipers and then torquing to spec.

Shimano resin brake pads. They work well. Plenty of power and quiet.

No complaints. Easy to install.

Got these to replace my old worn pads that were getting awfully noisy no matter how much I cleaned the rotors. A breeze to install. Bed them in and no more noise. For normal conditions I'd say go with resin pads. Much quieter with great braking performance IMO. An easy DIY project.

BTD makes it easy to buy

While SRAM has been playing catch-up with Shimano on brakes since the beginning, Shimano are still superior in performance and ease of service. I gave four stars for value because even buying them on sale, they could still be even cheaper!

My "go to" Shimano brake pads!

Once you get these pads set up right, they are powerful in both dry and wet conditions. That being said, you need to make sure that you bed the pads in correctly before going on a proper ride. There are a plethora of different youtube videos about this topic, but generally speaking, you want to get up to a decent speed (maybe 15 mph), engage the brake gradually until you are down to around 5 mph, release the brake BEFORE YOU LOCK UP THE WHEEL, and repeat the process at least 10x per brake.
Learn a lesson from me and avoid squeaky/not effective braking. Fear not, I was able to sand off the glazing on my pads and rectify the situation without too much fuss.

During the pandemic service parts were in short supply, so I couldn't find genuine brake pads for an upcoming gravel event. The LBS recommend "ceramic" pads they say they've used with great success and customers were happy with ...fine, they worked and seemed ok, so I just forgot about them and got through the pandemic on them.
Recently a got an email notice from BTD that genuine Shimano pads were back in stock AND it happened there was a flash sale also, so I figured since I was getting the Revolt prepped for the '23 gravel season, why not just go ahead and freshen up the bike with new pads too ???????
O... M... G!!!! After bedding them in, I cannot believe the difference in outright power, modulation & gain, resistance to fading and they're quiet ??
I'll never ever go with anything else, these are the pads to go with period you won't be disappointed ????

Shimano L05A-RF Resin Disc Brake Pads are just perfect. This is the first time I changed the originals. I considered a few options (metallic, i.e.) and alternative brands. Nah, I went back to exactly the same as the originals. Braking is powerful and noiseless. BTD had the best price and offered the points system, that is always a plus. BTD's shipping was fast and reliable.

Bought to replace standard non finned pads; help with brake fade during long descents. Also added a better look to overall bike build. If statements are true then these should stand strong for more than a season of hard riding.

Great stopping power. Word of advise - make sure you properly clean your brake rotors and bed in the brake pads when changing.

after two generations, shimano finally got the material right. Took long enough, but these work well and last, unlike the previous two gens.

Attention: The contact area of this pad overhangs the braking surface / overlaps the painted area of the Dura-Ace SM-RT900-S and SM-RT900-SS rotors, 140mm and 160mm.
I don't think they're compatible.

Love the brake pads. They don't squeal like the metallic pads when it is wet.

I can't think of any other brake pad to replace my Shimano groupo brake pad on my bike. I trust them and they always work well for a long time.

Awesome stopping power and quiet too, combined with the new DA rotors I have complete confidence in my brakes. I weigh about 210lbs and the only time I have to squeeze the levers hard is when I'm going downhill at 30mph or more and come up to a red light or a stop sign.

What a wonderful improvement over the 03!!! Better stopping power, better modulation, and quiet. Bedded without much fuss -- just careful at the end of a stop for a little while. And, did I mention, no more squealing?
