Ordering from Bike Tires Direct was easy and the new lever assy arrived in just a few days.

Replacement was easy, too. Use the Shimano app to change the old lever's credentials to the new lever (took about 5 minutes) and then attached the hydraulic lines and bled the system. Worked perfectly, just as I knew it probably would.

I'm a Shimano fan & will remain that way going forward.

Experienced with Ultegra & Dura-Ace 11 speed. Curious about the new 12 Speed Design / Mfg so I upgraded

I should have paid a bit more attention to the design differences of the Levers.

"The lever body reach is also extended by 4.6mm" - I did not pay attention before the upgrade.

The new levers definitely affected my fit / comfort, which is very sensitive for my body. It's been a recent change and plan more work with my Bike Tech & Bike Fitter to correct. I've also ordered a shorter Stem just in case we

have to swap out.

However, The advantages = elimination of wires, lightening fast shifts & looks outweigh the short term hurdle.
