We all think about it, Dura Ace. When I wanted to get a shorter crankset for CX, I looked at the upgrade. That bling of a thing that is Dura Ace has that appeal. However at twice the price for 100 grams, no thanks. In this case 105 is the sweet spot that even Ultegra cannot exceed, only 50grams at a 50% upgrade. Save the $150 or more and put it on a wheel upgrade that will pay more dividends. Peace

Replaced the 170mm crankarms on my trainer bike to 165mm. I'm 72" tall and find the shorter cranks much better on my knees. Also, I can hold the same power at the same cadence but my heart rate is about 8-10bpm lower. Only drawback is less instant torque at the start of a sprint and low rpms (under 50) out of the saddle. Product came in perfect condition.

I bought these 160 mm Shimano crank arms to replace the original 170 mm cranks that came with my bike. These cranks were a simple install. I used Shimano's torque guide to ensure all the screws and bolts were properly tightened.
I bought these for a size 49 frame Trek Domane to better fit the small frame and my smaller size. I get much better power transfer with these shorter cranks, especial during cold starts. I used to climb steep hills in the lowest gear but now I can climb the same hills in 3rd gear. My average RPMs tend to be higher now but that's not a problem. My average speed may have changed a small amount but mostly there is just a very noticeable improvement in the quality of my rides.
Two different cranks size calculators suggested I use 157.5mm cranks but these cranks were the smallest size I could find. I'm really glad I found them. The difference 10 mm makes for me is dramatic.

I ordered 160mm cranks to relieve discomfort following knee replacement. They were back ordered for a few months but arrived in time for outside cycling. Easy to install, work as expected and have made my knee happier. No complaints
