For the money, this is a great tire. It runs about 10 - 20 less than others I have used and does a much better job of sealing after a puncture. I also appreciate the way it wears and grips.

I have has several sets of these tires. They are very well made.

Both tires blew out at 70 psi within days of each other. Sucks being stranded with these high dollar tires

Magnificent safety grip, low smooth rolling and with mild installation difficulties on 1 tire.

Love these tires as they are fast and they grip the road. What a great pair of tires!

I have bee running road tubeless for three years now. The last set of tires were the Schwalbe One which I can not say enough good things about. Great all around tire. Purchased the Pro One after slicing the Ones on something that made a very large hole. The new Pro Ones seem to have a little better roll but all new tires seem that way to me. The reason I did not give this tire a 5 star rating is it does not hold air compared to the original. I have installed Stan's No Tube sealant what has remedied the situation. The original were run with no sealant.

Just purchased a set up tubeless wheels with the thought of not having to worry as much about flats. They have not left me stranded yet but pick up everything on the road. Every ride I received a puncture. I had to put in a tube on one ride. I only got a couple of hundred miles on my front tire before I noticed a bulge in the tire with a piece of the rubber missing. Once again I made it home however have not been happy with the quality or life out of the tires. I had a buddy who was going to go tubeless, however after seeing me struggle with them he decided to stick with his clinchers. Maybe a tire with a higher TPI may work better.

Some folks have mentioned the poor tread life on these Pro One tubeless tires. My experience is different. On my first set of Pro Ones I got 2247 miles on the rear tire (replaced when threads were showing - yikes!) and 2763 miles on the front. I typically ride these 28c tires with 80psi, but they feel good down to about 60psi. On my current set I have over 1000 miles on the rear tire and all is good. My only complaint (hence, 4 stars instead of 5) is that they are so stinkin' tough to mount and remove on my WTB wheels. It is impossible to break the bead off the rim with my hands, and I need to use a clamp. Mounting definitely requires first using an inner tube to get the beads to set, then removing the inner tube (keeping one side of the bead on), and using an air compressor along with soapy water on the bead to get the second side to pop into place. My next set of tires will probably be Hutchinson Sector 28 or Continental Grad Prix 5000TL.

Have had these for six months and have received more flats (tubeless and tubed - went back after they couldn't be remounted tubeless) than perhaps I've ever had on the full life of any other tire? I'm retiring them prematurely and going back to Conti. When they work tubeless, they're dreamlike. Unfortunately, that honeymoon wore out with the first flat (of many).

Having run tubeless on my gravel bike with great success, I thought Id go tubeless on my road bike.
The Schwalbe Pro Ones are indeed easy tubeless, inflating and holding air well. The 25s plump to 27mm on a 17mm-internal-width rim and weigh in close to the advertised weight.
Unlike other tires that feel simply harder or softer with changes in pressure, the Ones seem to change personality, going from wicked fast in the 90s to ultra plush in the 60s, without sacrificing creaminess at any pressure.
After 1500-ish kms, I can say these arent long-life mile munchers, but however many more kms I get out of them will be enough for me, Id rather ride a good tire for 2k than a wooden one for 4k.
TLDR Go tubeless with Ones and be happy.

These Schwalbe Pro One tubeless tires have definitely met my expectations. I was able to mount them on my rims just by soaping up the tire bead on both sides, and then pumping vigorously with a floor pump. The beads give a very satisfying SNAP when they pop into place. These are much, much easier to mount than my cyclocross tires (Maxxis Mud Wrestler). I'm 165lbs and using them at 80psi is great. I only have 300 miles on the tires so far, but the ride is good and the cornering traction is everything I want it to be. I do not have vast experience with a bunch of high-end road tires, so I can't compare these to others. But I do know I like them. If I can get 2000 miles out of them I'd definitely buy them again. My goal this year is 4000 miles of riding and so far I'm at 3200, so I'm on track.

Mounting this tire is as easy as it gets. I just use a floor pump. I go tubeless and run 80psi with a weight of 170. I use the 28 for the extra cushion for less road fatigue. Hold up well even on all the tar and chip surfaces replacing our tarmac. I will continue to buy this tire for my road riding adventures.

Why did I wait so long to go tubeless????? Amazing ride. Great handling. Never ride a tubed tire again.
