I shied away from tubeless for a LONG time. Didn't really get what the big deal would be, especially on a road bike. I recently built up a steel framed tourer for long distances on and off road. I went tubeless on that and it was an epiphany.

That experience made me rethink tubeless for my other bike; a Giant Contend AR3. Given that I ride the AR3 about 70% on road and 30% gravel, I decided to give these a try. Considering when I first got this bike, I road on teeth chattering 25mm tires pumped up to about 115 psi, it made sense that these would feel great. I had since moved onto 32mm running 70 psi, but the difference tubeless riding 48 psi front and 52 psi rear is immense.

They are very comfortable and forgiving over rough surfaces and I was shocked at how well they grip when cornering hard.

If you are on the fence about going tubeless, do it. And these tires won't let you down.

Great for the rough roads of northern Maine and atv trails. I use them on a mix of pavement and gravel. Not the best in loose terrain but fast and grippy on the hard pack.

Haven't used this tire on many unpaved/gravel surfaces, but I'm happy with the ride and its durability so far.

I bought these in 40mm to use on my gravel bike for winter/spring road riding. There is lots of gravel in the shoulders where I live, both in the city and out on long country rides. Also, lots of expansion joints, chip seal and generally rough pavement.

These measure just under 40mm when installed on a hookless 25mm internal rim. They are supple at lower pressures and make the roads a lot less punishing. Are they as fast as the GP5000 AS that I run on my road bike for the summer? No. But I haven't flatted in 200-300 miles so far so a good tradeoff.

I have been riding on these tires year around for two years about 3K miles a year. They a smooth, while providing the road grip needed in all conditions in Colorado.

Excellent ride on pavement and light gravel,excellent grip in wet conditions!!
