After 10 months of usagestorage and several hundred miles I am very pleased with this tire and Continental tube combination. Looks great and performs well. I upgraded my overall rating of this tire from 4 stars to 5 and ordered a 2nd tiretube combination today to replace my back hybrid Kendra. Prices are good from BTD as I typically shop wAmazon Prime but in this case BTD was competitive on listed prices and only slightly higher with shipping considered (we pay for Amazon Prime but they deliver free). Delivery is a bit slower from BTD than Amazon but I'm in no hurry this time.

I am a t7 para and I use a wheelchair. I also ride a handcycle. I have schwalbe tires on all my bikes and wheelchairs. I need the best flat protection possible and I feel that is what I get with schwalbe marathon tires.

I have these on my Trek 7.3fx bike that I use daily to commute to work. I ride over potholes, gravel and all sorts of miscellaneous junk and have NEVER had a flat. After 2,200 miles there is almost no visible wear. I have a level of trust in these tires I never before thought possible.
In addition to commuting, I put in longer rides some evenings and most weekends and will say these tires also roll pretty easy. They would not be my first choice for fast club rides, but they are not really meant to be a racing or training tire. They are my first choice for 50 and 100 mile charity rides. They will not let you down.

Just purchased this tire in 700x35 to replace front Kenda OEM 700x38 tire (4500 miles, 16 yrs) on my hybrid. I am 70 yr old who rides roadspaved bike paths at 400 miles per year and was looking for a slightly higher pressure tire with a smaller contact patch to help neutralize my wife's new Trek bike performance advantage. I liked the reflective band on the side wall and tread pattern on this Schwalbe plus the good comments from other reviewers (thanks BTD). Tire arrived in about 5 days and installed with moderate difficulty on old Araya rim with new Continental tube (Schrader). Pumped up to 75 psi. Good ride quality with slightly higher crispness to the ride and higher impact harshness (Kenda was run at 65 psi). Seems to be a fair (and expected) tradeoff for improved performance. Tire looks great. May upgrade the rear to Schwalbe soon.

I have never had a flat the Schwalbe Marathon in over 20 years. No need for a spare tube with these.

I have ridden many tires in the past few years that I have picked up on cycling. None of them have been as quick rolling, comfortable, or trustworthy as these 700x35 Marathons. I took them out on a nasty ride here near Woodland Park, Colorado. Pavement, cracked pavement, a little chipseal, gravel, pea gravel, mud, snow, rocks, a climb with 1700 feet gain in 4 miles, washboard, only to be surprised that these tires handled everything with confidence and speed. Despite the weight and bulk in these tires, they are fast. I even scored a new record on a 400 foot climb that I have ridden for nearly 2 years. Don't overthink it guys and gals, get this tire if your bicycle has the clearance!

Mainly use as a road touring tire. Very happy with the ride on these tires.

This is a solid tire with good grip and ride. I've got 2000 miles on my current set, fitted on Roubaix.
Heading out to ride in Ragbrai the end of the month and very confident in these tires.

Very difficult to get on (broke one of my flimsier tire bars) but once they're on they're fantastic. I only have one bike so I wanted a do it all tire--these work great for that. When I was doing research I found a lot of reviews about the rolling resistance of these tires. I didn't notice any difference between my old slick tires and these. Flat protection is a big plus for me because Portland's roads can have some debris.

I only replaced my front tire with a Schwalbe Marathon 700x35, old tire was a CST 700x32.
1. Bike turning radius was reduced.
2. Rolling resistance seems lower, my speed is higher by 1-2 mph.
3. These tires are not ideal on crushed limestone trails common in the Midwest, unless it is hardpacked

I purchased these tires for a 2020 Trek 920. I used Schwalbe Marathon tires in the past and I can vouch for the quality, endurance, and flat protection. These tires replaced a set of tubeless tires that were getting worn. These tires mounted easily and look great. They are a bit on the heavy side; however, I'm not a racer so the weight doesn't bother me. If you're looking for a robust touring/city/commuter tire, than look no further.

there is nothing to dislike about this tire. No flats, rolls freely, inflatable to 95 lbs.,great traction, easy to install, good price.

I purchased a replacement tire for the current tires that are on my touring bicycle. The tire works great, I have not had any flats yet and it holds a lot of weight. The reflective strip on the tire is an added bonus.

I use this on my fixed commuter. I don't skid, just want something to get me to and from work with an occasional romp through Forest Park on the way home. As long as I don't go on any of the gnarlier fire lanes they are just fine. Not alot of flats. Tires that help your bike go forwards and backwards, and sometimes sideways.

I had read many reviews on this tire, and my commuter was ready for new rubber so I decided to try a pair. I commute 4000 miles a year, and ride in all weather, so traction in wet and slushy conditions was important. I mounted them myself, and here I encountered a fit issue - they were loose on my Alex 700C rims. I had to finesse them to get the bead seated, since they wanted to come off the rim. This could be an issue with an on-the-road flat repair. Basically I had to keep partially inflating, and pushing the high spots down into the groove to get the bead engaged on the sidewall hook before going to full riding pressure. Fiddly... That said, riding them I find the ride to be very good, they seem to roll better than the Kenda's I replaced (OEM on my Charge Mixer) and grip very well in the wet. Oh, and the reflective strip is a nice touch on a commuter tire too!

Fingers crossed, no flats yet, even with an every day 16 mile commute over some of the worst roads in San Diego.

Hybrid 700x32, all blacktop & Oil&Chip rides. Less roll resistance than my Bontragers. Easy to mount.

I normally use Michelin or Continental tires and tubes, but they were not immediately available when I needed them. So, I ordered Schwalbe tires which I had heard of for a long time, but never tried. They're not the lowest-priced ones, but they're reasonable. So far they are meeting all my expectations, and I hope that they will continue to do so.

Very nice tires. Smooth riding. Excellent customer service, also. The web site defaulted to our local Walmart store for shipping. It was supposedly delivered there, but no one knew anything about it. I called Bike tires direct, and the agent said that had happened before. He sent my items again and I had them in 3 or 4 days. Thanks for the great response.

I don't really have any complaints. I have the 38mm width. I've rolled through some sketchy areas (broken glass, potholes, etc) for over 1000 miles with no flats yet! It feels fast enough for touring/adventure rides.
