Comes as advertised. Excellent tire. Very difficult to mount on wheel if you've never done it before. I learned how to mount this tire on youtube. Searched for "mounting schwalbe tires." Once I learned the tricks, it's now a piece of cake.

Nice tread, seems substantial and seems like it will last. Much better than the baloney skin that came with the trike!

Paired these tires with thorn proof innertubes in an attempt to prevent getting flats. I have internal hub gearing that makes changing a flat rear tire extra difficult in the field. Tried to use a No-Mor-Flat donut in the rear but it was just too heavy and did not hold a good tire shape which introduced way too much rolling resistance. Can tell the combo I have now added additional weight over the original tire and tube setup that came with the bike. The Schwalbes allow a higher inflation pressure than the originals which evens things out. Enjoying the lowered rolling resistance and the piece of mind of an almost puncture proof system.

I picked up a pair of Schwalbe 20 inch tires for my BIKE FRIDAY.
BIKE FRIDAY is my traveling bike.
I like the higer tire pressure, great for city riding.Tire is not yet too thin so I can navagate dirt roads and some gravel.
I keep a log book on all my bikes and my last set lasted over 4 years before dry roiting, not bad for living in the desert. Most bike tires only last a year before the desert air destroyes them.

Needed performance tires for better speed durability. Found Tires Direct in Internet search. Posted reviews convinced me that I had found what I needed!

Time will tell how they hold up. These came on my new velotechnik trike and one was defective so I had to replace it. I hope the new one is more durable than the one that came with the bike.

I have ridden with both the 20 X 1.5 100 PSI as well as the 10 X 1.75 75 PSI Schwalbe tires on my recumbent on a 4300 mile coast to coast tour across the U.S. I had only 1 Flat. My son utilized the same tires on his recumbent and also had only one flat. We swapped out tires at our halfway point just out of principle rather than necessity. The tires were doing fine and we had no problems. Our only flats were on the 1.5 100 PSI tires.
The rolling resistance difference between the two tires in negligible. The wider, lower pressure tire (1.75 75 PSI) felt more forgiving with pavement defects, linear cracks, and rough surfaces and provided a more secure ride.
Nothing comes close to the quality and security of this tire except for maybe a Schwalbe Marathon Plus! You may pay more dollars for this tire, but you will not be dissapointed in its reliability and performance.

put on my sun easy rider long wheel base recumbent, rolls easy on pavement and wide enough to not sink in on our local rail trail that is mainly crushed limestone. Really like the reflective sidewalls.

I bought 3 of these to replace the stock low pressure tires on my Terratrike Cruiser. I have purchased Schawlbe Marathon's before and I'm sure that I will again when the need arises.

The tires have been great on my folding bike. The higher psi tires has increased my top speed and handling on turns seem more stable. I love the reflective side wall on the tires, more visible during night riding. Bottom line, these are great tires.

I have folding commuter bike with fenders. This tire gives a lot of tred with a thin & low profile perfict for my Dahon Speed7. I really like the reflective sidewalls.

The Schwalbe Marathon is a great tire for several reasons. It has great wear durability, a reflective sidewall, and stability on both road and trail.
We live in an area with excessive sand spurs and this tire has proven the best solution to limit my trips to the bike shops for inner tubes. For added protection, I line the inside with an older tube and have not had a problem since.

Works well on my Catrike. A stiff durable tire. Good mileage and very resistant to flats.

I use this tire on my recumbent trike and get 2500 miles on the rear tire and about 4000 on the front two. I ride them till the cord is showing. They grip well and I have had three flats on 7 tires in the past three years. I am a 250lb rider and ride 5000 plus miles a year. I will buy again

Great tire if you don't use them on a cambered trike like the Sun ax-3x. No problem on the single front tire but the two rear wore threw with less than 1500 miles on them. The original Kendas didn't make 700 miles. My 120lb 63 year old wife rides the trike.

This tire should not disappoint. The reflective strip is good both while on the road and when mounted on the trike rack on the back of the car. Seems to wear well and is a good value for the cost.

I have Trikes and they take three tire. Tire discount has the best price and the Schwalbe are the best. What else can I say. Mike

My wife and I ride Rans Recumbents, and the Schwalbe Marathon is the best tire I have been able to find for an outstanding tire.

For a heavy tire they are surprisingly fast and very durable. I bought these on recommendation and have been quit pleased. These are my second set.

Schwable tires are the only tires I use on my bicycles.
