Great Schwalbe tires, no surprise. Excellent grip on hard pack fire roads and the like. But they are pretty noisy and slow on city streets and the handling is not for the road (~60m). I switched to the Super Moto-X which are quiet and quick on the streets, handle fantastic, but still have enough grip for some hard packed fun. Once things get sandy or single tracked, the Al Grounders are far superior. These are Town and Country tires, not for the Urban and Suburban'ites. FYI; both the 2.35 Al's and the 2.40 Moto-X's measured 2.25 on my wider ebike rims.

I use these tires on a class 3 ebike in the city and suburbs. The 2.35's just fit on my bike that came with smaller road tires and 700c rims before I converted to wide 27.5 wheels for comfort. Lots of rubber helps. Good protection so far from broken glass. PSI 26 -54, I run them about 45 which seems hard enough to roll smooth and quick on pavement. Unlike some other large knobbys these are silent. Takes some work to install, centering the beads in the center of the rim where it's smaller helps. I'm hoping the wire bead will stretch over time to make removal easier.

Hovsco Ranger E-bike makes riding to work sustainable.I took the knobbies off and replaced them with Schwalbe Al Grounder. Rolls smoother and faster, had to service the brakes... Class 3 hauls ass.
