My weekly ride on a bike path passes through areas with pieces of glass and other litter left by overnighters, thus the reason for buying the Air Plus Tube. Along with the Schwalbe Marathon Plus, this should provide the puncture protection I need. In the 800 miles of use since this purchase, I have yet to flat. The only downside is the additional heft. As for the claim of holding air longer, I find that it loses about 10 psi over 2 weeks. That is certainly better than my road bike with light weight tubes and tires,

These hold air better than any other tube I have used- rarely need to top off. I did puncture 1 of them putting on the tire, but that's probably because the Schwalbe Wicked Wills that I installed at the time were crazy tight (those are also 5 stars). I know most people don't use tubes anymore, but if you're going to, these are a great option.

I replaced my rear tire (26") on my recumbent bike after 21+ flawless years and found that the new Schwalbe Air Plus Presta Valve Tube was even thicker than the original. I expect another couple of decades of use, if I live that long (75yrs now), eh? ;)

I'm a lazy rider and the less I have to do to get on my bike, the better. I check the pressure once a month and it barely loses pressure. I really like that I can just hop on and ride.
It's on the heavy side, but I'm sure that's one of the reasons it holds air so well. I'm not in a race, and I prefer a bike that sticks to the road.
If you have the same mindset that I do, you'll love this tire.

I was having trouble with having flats while out on a ride and now I am confident that with these tires and tubes, I have pretty much eliminated that possibility.

I ordered the wrong bike tires but received excellent customer service and the exchange was easy.

If it lasts a long time and continues to hold rideable tire pressure for a couple of weeks between pump-ups, I'll give it 5 stars
