New metal valve stem is much more dependable for an otherwise fantastic product.
This tube is used for street riding pumped to 90psi inside a 25mm GP5000. The original plastic stem in the old Aerothan would not retain the valve reliably at this pressure using a hand pump - the new metal one does. The ride feel of TPU tubes rivals tubeless, without the mess. The price is considerable, but I'm on Aerothans 2+ years old without problems.
