These are excellent wheels, Look at the videos at Rolf Prima to convince yourself that these are sturdy wheels. The staff at Bike Tires Direct was very helpful with technical questions. Rolf wheels are made in the U.S.A., in Eugene, Oregon, and come with a 5 year warranty. I would agree with the other poster that getting Continental Gatorskin tires mounted was difficult. The sealed bearings are a big improvement over the cups and cones on my old wheelset.

When I received my wheelset I of course started to mount tires...Conti Gatorskins. It was a battle to get them on the rims unlike any other time I've owned. After an hour+ I could only hope I never had to change them.

Once I rode them I found them to be very nice wheels. I can say that my kph over known routes improved by 1.5.

But eventually I did have a flat and the struggle to change was demoralizing!

As nice as these wheels roll I won't buy another pair because of the difficulty in mounting tires.

I purchased these to replace the stock Roval wheels on my Roubaix. The Rovals are listed as $800 wheels. But I didn't feel as though they spun very freely. The Rolf's proved me right. They spin much more freely which I'd attribute to better hubs. Over 700 miles so far and I'm averaging 1.5 kph faster on all my rides. Great investment. Only complaint would be that tires are very difficult to mount.
