This chain lube doesn't seem to attract as much muck/grime as other lubes I've used. With other lubes, my jockey wheels would end up caked in grime after a few rides, but that has not happened with any of the rock-n-roll lubes I have used (the absolute dry, and the gold one). It also genuinely cleans the chain when applied and wiped off, as advertised. My only complaint is that, when squeezed, the bottle seems to dispense more lube than needed -- maybe it's less viscous than other lubes -- so I'm using more of it, but it's also far less expensive so this is not a significant problem.

I have been using Rock-N-Roll products for about three years. I have previously tried all of the other usual suspects. I alternate between the red and the gold depending on weather conditions and location. I have a number of road bikes and they now all have sparkling clean drive trains. It is important to use Rock-N-Roll exactly as instructed. The video is very straight forward about how to do this and it is actually quite simple. You may have to apply it a little more often than with other lubes, but that is because they are thicker, but that just leads to dirty chains. Not so with Rock-N-Roll. Watch for specials on BTD and stock up. I have turned a couple of bike mechanics in Europe on to this stuff and they always ask me to bring it to them when I come over to ride. Bottom line: simple to use with great results.
