Takes the sting out of hard hits. Not noticeably heavier. Makes for a smoother ride on my gravel bike. Installation is straightforward but watch the video. Be aware that it takes a little while to get accustomed to a bit of dive under braking, particularly downhill.
One thing I wasn't prepared for was there is also flex in the upward direction when you are pulling up on the bars to lift the wheel over an object as well and you lose some feel/finesse for doing that.

While this is not as bump absorbing as a Rockshock fork. It makes enough of a difference in the vibration felt when riding gravel that you won't realize how much until you take time to think about it. No regrets

After a broken collar bone + a cracked scapula = finding comfort on endurance length gravel rides has been a real challenge.
Redshift stem has helped greatly - especially those downhill washboard roads.
