Easy to attach to my bike mount, then easy to attach my Garmin 1040 to it. Light is very bright, when I have it on blinking, oncoming cars and cyclists can see that light from very far away. Because it sits high and the mount is slanted upwards for the cyclist to see the Garmin computer, the light doesn't shine down on the pavement as much as I would like it to. But for an easy and fast adaptation for low light or dark conditions, when you are about 10-12 miles from home, as the day turns to evening or from before dawn to full sunrise, this works pretty well.

Using it with my Bolt, the concept is great, mount it out front and the bike computer on top, keeping the handlebar clean. Buttons are easy to use, the battery lasts a long time.

Here's the issue for a road cyclist training in the park early morning, even at its most dim, it's too bright and there's no way to angle it down, which every cyclist should do on the road. I've put a strip of blank white paper over the lights with clear tape to mute the brightness but may stop using it altogether because on a size 60 bike, it's in everyone's face and it's too bright for cyclists and drivers moving the opposite direction.

Would like to see a way to pivot the bulbs themselves, click them to angle down. Probably going to switch back to a bar light I can angle.

There are great reviews for this light and deservedly so, but this rider thinks it doesn't work well for other riders.

I bought my first Raveman years ago because I liked the design, which used & incorporated a Garmin mount.

I used it on every ride always in the intermittent Flash mode. My only complaint was the charging / on-off switch area (linked together) was not very robust

Big improvement on the this model. They have separated the on-off (on the side) to the charging port (on the rear). This is a thicker & slightly heavier model BUT Light is much brighter which I always value.

Would definitely buy again.

Purchased this headlight about a year ago and have many miles with it. It's exceptional quality, has a long long battery life on warning flash, and is wickedly bright. The best part is the ability to stack my Garmin edge device on top...genius! Much cleaner looking then my separate Garmin and Nite rider headlight. Gives me more room for my hands on the bar.

Great idea to allow a Garmin to be mounted on top of it. Being able to do so saves a lot of handle bar room which let's me utilize more hand positions relieving numbness.

I was using the original Raveman 250 for a few years and was starting to experience diminished battery life on longer rides; The newer FR500 is a big improvement, and definitely is brighter, and definitely has longer lasting battery life. I don't ride at night with this light, but the non-flashing modes appear to offer better light, as well, if one happens to be out riding at dusk. The trade off is that the new unit is a better, thicker, and thus heavier than the earlier model. I think it's a worthwhile trade off for the way it integrates under my Garmin computer and increases the new unit's brightness and battery life, but did look elsewhere in my 'carry-on equipment' to see where I could reduce those additional grams of weight. Tip: although not really an issue, I do use a small rubber band to wrap between the top of the Raveman (under the Garmin Computer) and then under my handlebar stem mount, to reduce vibration.

Super clean and convenient, had been using its predecessor for years. The newest Raveman is 3x brighter, albeit slightly thicker and a bit heavier. Small price to pay for something that might save your life. Also, the on/off button and charging port are a bit more functional.

I keep this on my gravel bike for when rides in the woods might run long and I need a ride to get home. Plenty of light for riding around town without having to deal with extra mounts on my bars.

Very bright. Adds cantilever weight if you have an out front mount. I removed the attached lanyard upon arrival. After several uses, I hit a bump and the light, and my Garmin, went flying. My mount circle failed.

Fortunately,I was able to retrieve both with little more than scratches.

I really like the way this headlight works. It holds a pretty good charge and the fact that I can attach my Garmin bike computer right on top of the headlight is the best feature.

The light functions well but I love that I can mount it securely under my quad lock. It's completely out of the way and looks super clean.

I bought this for my gravel/road bike for added safety. If it was up to my wife I'd be encased in lights and bubble wrap, but I get it. I live in a rural part of AZ and drivers aren't always very attentive. The light is sleek and easy to mount. I like the brightness and the fact you can adjust light patterns.

The Raveman light has multiple modes- flash, steady, warning. Takes up no more room on my narrow handlebars as my Wahoo device sits right on top. Love the streamline. Doesn't need to be charged as much as many other lights I've had. Solid product.

I like this light because it mounts easily and cleanly on my out-front Garmin mount. Other lights I've had to strap to my handlebar or stem and there is very little room on my handlebars for lights. I've had it for 3 weeks and have yet needed to recharge it (4 rides). I haven't used it at night yet, so not sure how it performs then, but i suspect will be fine for my limited needs.

Great headlight that integrates with the ubiquitous garmin computer mount. Garmin is equally secure on the light. Brightness is outstanding. Battery life is excellent. Charging is also clear with the indicator light.

Very happy with this light and it's innovative mount integration with Garmin cyclocomputer. It is easy to operate and plenty bright for road night riding. Love this front light and it's USB-C ease of charging.

I think this light is as great as it can be for the price. The beam is a little dispersed, but pretty strong and it is visible from the sides. Mounting is not an issue if you have a computer mount already. Snap in and go.

I use this light on my gravel bike and it sits below my Garmin.

Needed to raise my Garmin up to clear the handlebar. Very bright light to that is a bonus.
