I wanted a two-sided power meter. Was looking at the Rival upgrade but that is a single sided option. This was a direct replacement for the Rival crank my bike came with. Very easy to install since my bike already had a DUB bottom bracket. There is plenty of views and support to walk you through the installation and bottom bracket bearing preload adjustment, easy. Paring with my Wahoo Element Bolt computer was seamless. The power meter self calibrates which is a good thing, just get on the bike and go. Overall, very happy with my purchase.

This model replaced 48/35 version. Bullet proof PM, battery last a long time and it's very accurate. So light weight!!!

I was fortunate to upgrade my 48/35 to the 52/39. Finally Sram decided to make big boy gears. The look and quality of craftsmanship is perfection. Easy to swap gears and lightweight.

After spending a month of research I finally jumped on the power meter bandwagon. As a data junkie I wanted a power meter that is reliable and could generate numbers (along with my Garmin head unit and HRM). Calibrating takes a couple seconds. The payoff comes when I return home and can do a quick peruse of the ride summary. I know it is a long term disposable spider design but as long as I stay on top of the chain wear it will give me years of service with just batteries to replace. If you are looking to build a project bike and have bought into the SRAM universe this is a no-brainer.

I have had the best luck with Quarq power meters between reliability, accuracy and battery life.
