Great fit and length with no bunching at the pad.Wash well and the pad does not shift when spun in the washer.I will buy a couple more if still available.

Review by AnonymousReviewed 10/2/2020by AnonymousCycling EnthusiastSW Michigan on Lake MichiganThe quality was lacking and the leg length is, as mentioned in a review, too short. This was probably my error in judgement. I was looking for a reasonably priced pair of bibs and came across this item. I should have returned them after trying them on, however, I decided to ride in them one time. They could be adequate for shorter rides, I would not recommend them for any longer distance riding . I have a son who is a few inches shorter in leg length and gave them to him. I will stick with the Castelli brand from now on.

Review by sp2060Reviewed 6/27/2020by sp2060Cycling EnthusiastVirginia6 of 6 customers found this review helpful.Less than expectedThese bibs are, as another reviewer noted, OK for indoor training but fall far short of what I've come to expect, especially at their normal price point. Many reviewers commented about the shorter-than-normal leg length but to me, there are too many other, more important, weaknesses to fret about than leg length. For background, I'm a (very) senior, long-time bike rider who puts in about 2k miles a year on the road. I've always worn bibs. My average ride is about 23 miles. Which is about as long as I would ever want to wear these. So, what's the issue? For one, the straps. They are skimpy in length, narrow in width, and thin in fabric. They tend to roll up and dig into your shoulders. I wouldn't dream of using these shorts without a baselayer. The pad is super ordinary. And maybe the leg length accentuates it, but the shorts just feel thin and cheap...not what I'd want to wear on a longer ride. I have other, cheaper house-brand shorts that I wear mostly on my trainer but sometimes on a local ride that are in my opinion waaaay better.

Review by AnonymousReviewed 6/27/2019by AnonymousCycling EnthusiastWillamette Valley, OR7 of 7 customers found this review helpful.Good shorts... for certain riders.I read the other reviews that mentioned the short leg length, but figured at 5'8 with short legs I'd be okay. Even I am wishing the legs were an inch or two longer, so if you have long legs, or skinny legs (there are no silicone grippers) these are not the shorts for you. Aside from that, the fabric is incredibly soft (downside, everything sticks to it) and stretchy, and the chamois is high quality. I weigh 145-150lbs, have a 32 waist and bought the medium, which fits well... if anything a bit large, so definitely not euro sizing.

I have tried other bibs and shorts and none perform like these. They wash up great and I hang them up for drying, keeps the padding in place and the leg grippers like new after probably 60 uses they are like new.

Review by Spartan CyclistReviewed 12/8/2018by Spartan CyclistCompetitive RacerChicago, IL14 of 14 customers found this review helpful.Great for trainer rides..... The legs are short.I would recommend these on sale for riding on the trainer.
Frankly they're a nice pair of shorts and are quite comfortable.
But the leg length.... I'm 6'0 tall with a 32 inseam, and these shorts come up pretty high on my thigh. I can't help but thinking 'Who wears short shorts' when I put these on.
I can only imagine that if I rode them outside and switched from my other bibs to these, that I would have a solid few inches of sun burn on my quads.
So, if you want a solid, quality pair of bibs, hopefully on sale for riding on your trainer. I'd recommend these. Wear your other bibs outside thought.

Review by AnonymousReviewed 10/8/2018by Anonymous1 of 1 customers found this review helpful. Well padded and light weight. Have worn the bibs several times on rides between 30 and 70 miles without any issues. The bibs padding Is comfortable and the upper part of the bibs is lightweight and unobtrusive .

Review by swamiReviewed 8/17/2018by swamiCycling EnthusiastPortland, Ore.3 of 4 customers found this review helpful. My favorite bibsThe old version of these are possibly my favorite bib shorts, and I've probably owned every sub-$200 pair out there over the years. Easy to buy at the regular price, complete no-brainer at the sale price.

Review by AceReviewed 8/23/2019by AceMitchell, NE1 of 1 customers found this review helpful.Excellent I have tried many bib shorts in the past. These are my favorite. They fit snug. They stretch will in the front to urinate. And the straps dont fall off your shoulders. I have worn them for 3 months and show little wear. I should have purchased more than 2 pair when they were on sale.

Review by AnonymousReviewed 8/23/2019by AnonymousSanta Barbara1 of 1 customers found this review helpful.Love the cut, wish it had a denser chamoisPicked this up because everyone was complaining it was too short of an inseam. Thankfully I'm pretty short legged so it fit perfectly! I love the compression and fit, however the chamois is a little thin for my liking. That being said, it would be fine for shortish rides.

Review by Steve F.Reviewed 7/15/2019by Steve F.Saugus1 of 1 customers found this review helpful.Good for the short Clydesdale As others have mentioned the legs are short but theyre great for me since Im short and muscular (58, 215 lbs). The chamois is the one of the most comfortable Ive used, I recently rode 73 miles wearing these with no irritation.

Review by MikeAZReviewed 6/3/2019by MikeAZCycling EnthusiastGreater PhoenixReasonable valueStrictly a road cyclist and the chamois in these bibs is good for rides up to 2.5 - 3 hours. As other have mentioned the leg length is shorter than most which leaves something to be desired if you're looking for good compression in your thigh.

Review by JhoReviewed 2/21/2019by JhoFairviewGreat bibsoverall I love these bib shorts these are my third pair to in which I've purchased 2 from biketiresdirect! biketiresdirect has had the lowest price ever that I have paid that's why I purchased very quickly. They're a little on the stiff side but by the end of the ride or even 10 minutes into the ride you don't notice the stiffness of the Lycra I'm used to a more stretchy Lycra but these cycling shorts are awesome I'm on my third pair

Review by JohnReviewed 12/24/2018by JohnVANCOUVERGreat bibI really like the way these fit. The legs are not too short like some bibs and the chamois is just the right thickness for me. They go on sale often so the price is great!

Review by SteveReviewed 11/12/2018by SteveCycling EnthusiastRural,Mn4 of 4 customers found this review helpful.Super fit & a great chamois for a bargain price!I've bought many different brands of bib shorts and have always found I got what I paid for and it wise to stay away from bargain brands. These were on sale, and between the excellent fit & finish plus a chamois made for long ride comfort I got way more than I paid for.

Super comfortable. Fits as expected, except leg length runs about an inch to 2 short depending on how long you prefer them. No grippers on inside leg cuffs. Good value when on sale. Im 6.0, 175lbs, and medium fits great.
