I use this on my road bike for extended rides. It lasts so much longer then rechargeable lights. it gives a good visual to warn cars . The price was better than most for what you get

Bought this light several years ago, it always worked well, never took more than one set of batteries, however today it just disappeared off of the back of my bike. No someone did not steal it, the flashing mechanism (Red lens and the rest of the works, including batteries) just fell of the base and was lost somewhere on my ride. It simply fell apart I guess. If the clip had given up and I would have lost the whole thing, that would have been one thing. But to have the thing fall apart like it did was frustrating. Now I have the white plastic base and no light. There is some kind of design flaw that allowed this to happen.

Why would anyone pay more? This is a great taillight at a disposable price.

It can be viewed at one mile, very bright light, super cool..

I have this same tail light on 2 of my bikes because they radiate in the dark. Flashing strobe with a solid mount.

Light is easy to see from a long distance. Brackets work well on my recumbent bike. Highly recommend.

Just they made a blackred variant instead of just redwhite or clearblack. I don't think clear is legal for rear light if you don't also have a red reflector - but don't quote me on that. But I do love this light. I have it attached to my saddle pack.

The light is used for late rides where the return trip is at dusk. I use it in flasher mode which extends the battery life quite a bit. Best for road use, as I have had it come off of the mounting clip on bumping trails on my mtb.

Good deal on sale not the brightest but not the dimmest by a long shot. Also the battery seems to last a while.

Overall this is a great light! Very bright, has a cool flash pattern, energy efficient. My only gripe is the on-off switch. It requires a lot of searching for the exact right spot to push, and then a lot of pressure to turn on-off. Maybe I'm being picky? The only flaw in an otherwise super product!

I am always impressed when I see a rider up ahead using this light. But, I know for a fact that brighter ones exist because I have 2 lights that are even brighter. Both came from BTD. I gave my Superflash to a friend who is using it daily.

This light catches your attention when it comes into view. A bright red blinking light and it seems visible from a very wide angle of view. And in the dark is it difficult to miss, even if not looking directly at it. The price seems more than fair for how well it works. I cannot recall how many hours are on the batteries, so suffice to say they last quite a while. I am sure that I have 70 hours at this point. I have have had no issues at all and I have bought three of these lights. Two for my present bikes and a replacement for one that turned up missing.
I would buy again.

I wanted a light that would wake up drivers when they approach me from the rear. This light does that. It is really bright and can be seen from a long way off which is what you want when you are riding beside any highway or on those country roads. I hope I can find a similar light for the front.

Great in low light conditions

This light fits perfectly on my seat post or clips nicely to my jersey. Easy to clip on or off the bike. Very bright light that is very visible at night or low light hours.

This tail light can be clearly seen from a significant distance by motorists who are paying attention. The are even quite visible during the day. The installation options are excellent. As the lead cyclist for out and back running races, these lights get oncomming runners' attention and aid in enableling me to clear the way for the first place runner as we pass back through the pack.

I think this is the best tail light out there. I've tried others but this one has survived through rain and being jettisoned off my saddle bag on a super bumpy descent. It's really bright yet doesn't burn the retinas of my friends riding behind me. They've improved the chain stay mount so it stays put and the light stayed on it on that same really bumpy descent. It's everything you need in a tail light and at a great price.

Having sampled a couple dozen different lights over the decades, the best there is. Especially good for training alone. I use two on the front and two on the back of the helmet clipped over zip-ties. Local bad roads or cyclocross eventually destroy everything mounted to the bike. I still have the 0.5 watt lights, buy the new 1.0 watt version.
