I've had one of these bad boys since the day this model came out. Besides the great be-seen ability that this little light provides, this product is a bullet-proof performer. Years upon years of bottom of the messenger bag abuse has not fazed this light. It is a light that all others should come to respect, if not for performance for pure year to year endurance.

This light has worked great for my commutes and rides in the soggy pacific northwest. I definitely feel like I am seen with the 5 LEDs shining. Two thumbs up. Put this light on flash mode to get optimal burn time from your battery.

Just built up a city commuter/light tourer and wanted to add to my night-time visibility. I paired this Planet Bike flasher with a Busch & Mueller head/lamptail lamp set. The combination allows me to see the road well at cruising speed on dark roadways while having confidence that oncoming drivers will see me because of the extra visibility that a flashing light provides. The Planet Bike Beamer is bright, visible for very long distances and has a very long run time on rechargeable NiMH AA batteries. I highly recommend this product and Bike Tires Direct. They are great to deal with.

I bought this light for my bike in 2009. I used this light a total of two times in the last three years, in fact the batteries are the ones that orginally came with the light. I turned on the light to check it a few days ago as I was planning on taking it on a cross country trip, the switch would not turn the light off, I am contacting the company to complain.

This thing kicks around in my shoulder bag all the time just waiting for the occasional dark ride home. Not once has it ever turned itself on, That is important to me, I have gone through numerous batteries with other lights (mostly rear flashers). The lighting thus far seems sufficient, and the flashing mode I have found to be more useful then i had expected, especially in rare moments of heavy traffic.

This is a great headlight, small in size but very bright with a well focused beam. The strobe setting works very well. Anyone that rides after the sun goes down NEEDS one of these lights.
