Great handling tire

I put these on my Specialized Tarmac. I went with a size 30 and they just fit. So far so good. I have about a 100 miles on them They seem pretty soft so I don't know how many miles I get out of them, but I love the ride and the handling. BTW I'm indicating that I'm a daily commuter, but these tires are on my weekend road bike. I run a commuter tire on my daily commute bike; not these. I am not sure I would trust these to be very flat resistant

Thank you for your feedback.

Consistent Pirelli Performance!

This is one of several sets of Pirelli higher-end performance tires that I've purchased from BTD. Very happy with all of them: decent ride quality, excellent handling (although I don't ride in the wet, only if caught-out in a surprise shower, so can't speak to handling in the wet), and have not had a puncture with ANY of the Pirelli's that I've had. I've ridden several sets of Conti GP5K ST-Rs, and can say that these Pirellis are quite comparable in all respects to the Contis - both are high-quality tires. All of these have been used with tubes, either butyl or TPU, no tubeless here. I will say that the Pirellis are somewhat easier to mount than Contis in my experience. Tread service life seems OK, usually ~ 3K miles for both Conti and Pirelli. Subjective, of course, but ride quality / comfort seems a tad better with the Pirellis - last several sets have been 28/30 on my 2023 Canyon Aeroad CF SLX8.

Yes.

I ride 150+ miles per week on paved roads and trails. Occasionally, crush limestone. Took the plunge after reading all the reviews and am not disappointed. Easier to mount than expected on my Fulcrum Speed 40c carbon fiber wheels. I did not inflate to the full recommended pressure based on Pirelli recommendations as 100+ psi seemed nuts. Ride and handle great. Grippy. Replaced Victoria Corsa 28mm. I like the Victoria but seems like they are pushing to go full tubeless and these rims do not support that.

Thank you for your feedback.

The right marginal gain.

I moved up, from 28mm tires (Conti 5000s) to the Pirellis in 30mm, mounted in Reserve 34/37 wheels. It's a nice improvement; more supple, great rolling and less 'present'; meaning they almost seem to go away on good pavement, more like gliding than rolling.

Mostly good.

Fine tire, bought for low rolling resistance and moderate puncture resistance. Mounted fine, rides nice. However, the nominal 28mm tire measures only 25 mm when inflated on a Bontrager race rim.

All that and a bag of chips! No brainer.

I haven't talked myself into tubeless, but I do run TPU tubes. It was time to replace the 30mm Rubino Pros (liked them a lot) on my road bike and went with 30mm P Zero RS Tube Type Road Tires (love them a lot) as the options for tube specific high end tire are kind of limited. I did like the Rubino's, but the Pirelli's feel faster, more comfortable & better handling. Im hoping Pirelli has a 32's option by the next time I need to replace the rubber. As usual, BTD sales make them that much better.

Thank you for your feedback.

Not much upgrade over P Zero race

Comes out to 5 or 10$ more than regular P Zero race with less tread life. Might be a fraction less rolling resistance, if your a racer it might be worth it.

Highly recommend over the Continental GP500s.

Went with the tube type 30mm road tire with tanwall and I couldn't be happier. I normally ride Continental Grand Prix 5000 but wanted to try these Pirelli's this time. The ride is definitely smoother and more forgiving on long days in the saddle. Highly recommend over the Continental GP500s.

Improved speed and handling

Size 30mm has improved handling and comfort in the bike. The lighter weight has improved my average speed.
