Durable, comfort Tire in max road bike size

I use these tires on my road bike. Tubeless ready, they hold air better than any other tubeless I've used in the past years. They are very comfortable and would make a great Tire for light gravel work. Unfortunately, they are terminally slow. I always feel like I'm pushing. For some, they will be perfect. For others not so much.

Thank you for your feedback.

Nice tire

Pros

It's the only tire I've found at 26mm and the largest tire that will fit on my road bike. I ride on a lot of gravel and the extra width is nice. It also runs at 89 PSI which gives just a little bit of dampening on the gravel.

It was very easy to install.

It holds air fairly well. Some tubeless tires take a couple of rides before they start holding air well, but this one did on the first ride. It still needs to be topped off before each ride.

Cons

Another reason I picked this was the puncture protection. I got a flat that won't seal after 3 rides. It could be a fluke, so I'm trying another.

The larger softer tire is a little soft in the corners. This hasn't caused any problems, but it reduces my confidence while cornering a bit.

Thank you for your feedback.

Great Tire' for me

BTD continues to offer this tire in 'my size' (700x26) and at a good price. Actually, both my wife and I are on them. We are both light(er), so we get a lot of miles on them ~8-10km. Pretty much bulletproof across 4 years.

Thank you for your feedback.

Mounting challenge

Haven't ridden it yet, but mounted it yesterday. It was a challenge! Though the tire went on the rim easily and without levers, getting the beads to seat was difficult. Couldn't get the bead pre-seated all the way around. Definitely requires taking valve stem out of the valve and definitely requires a compressor. Once seated, some leakage was evident. However, once the sealant was swished around inside the wheel, the leaks between the bead and rim were sealed. I'm looking forward to riding it and hope the durability and ride quality warrant the work it took to get it mounted.

Thank you for your feedback.

Bulletproof But Clunky

I bought these as a change from the Rubino Pro TLR.

These tires are bulletproof. After a year and nearly 5000 miles they held up over everything LA streets could throw at them...Rocks, Glass, Metal etc. However, the don't handle very well. Very stiff and clunky.

They don't track well and corner poorly. Just not a great handling tire.

If I was going to ride across country or around the world this would be a great tire.

My riding buddy had the same experience with his at the same time.

I went back to Vittorias and am very happy with them.

Thank you for your feedback.

Bomb proof , no flats in two years

The best bomb proof tire out there. 4.1mm thickness is thicker than any other tire out there. I've put over 7000 miles on this tire. It's tubeless. Not one puncture hiss ever let alone an actual flat.

Thank you for your feedback.

Great quality and ride.

I bought this to replace a tire (Schwalbe Pro One) on my wife's Specialized Creo. Was easy to get on the rim (Roval C38) and seat. She likes the ride and usually runs it at 70 psi. She's got about 500 miles on it and has yet to get a puncture. Looks very similar to the Pro One with the tan wall.

Thank you for your feedback.

tire is wider and feels heavy

The Pirelli Cinturato Velo 700c Road Tire was fatter than the typical 700c x 28mm from other similar tires. The tire felt heavy during acceleration in my estimation. The clearance fork in my road bike was similar to a 32 mm tire

Pirelli makes a great tire, but this one was not what I thought it would be.

Install Review

I only have one ride on these, so this review is about installation. They were a bit tight on my Boyd 36's, but I was able to ease thw install by using Park's new tire levers. Also takes a bit of sealant to seal these, but they hold air well after initial sealant step.

Thank you for your feedback.

Good all around training tire

I was looking for a more durable tubeless tire than the PZero TLRs which lasted me about 2000 miles. So far so good with these tire. They do feel a bit slower, but very grippy and predictable even on wet descents.

Thank you for your feedback.

Extremely durable

I got these for my new gravel bike. They are just perfect. Great traction and comfort on wet surface. No flats since. I also got the 26c for my old road bike and do not regret it. I use to ride Conti's, but I thought they were overrated, and wanted to try something new. Did some research on reddit, and decided to give them a try. Glad I did.

Thank you for your feedback.

Reliable

Def. Of reliable: used as tubeless, avg 300mi/wk, 190lbs on a Lynks, DT swiss wheels: no flats for one year, ride beautifully, even when cornering. Only sad part? When I wear through and have to buy new ones.

Thank you for your feedback.

Great tandem tire

Use the 700x35, set up as tubless on our tandem. Larger volume provides comfort. Get more mileage than other brand tubeless tires.

Rode for six months

These tubeless tires ride perfectly! I ride road, titanium frame and Sram axs about 150 mi/wk. Tires are comfy, grip and corner well. So far, they are wearing well.
