In Large size these are a bit long for my 5'7",160.lb frame. Still just above my knees. Even being Thermal material,they have a near compression fit. The grippers still keep them in place. With a pair of knee warmers on crisp,morning rides. They're great to have that Thermal material on. The bib shorts have a bit nicer suspenders than the IP unfinished,raw edges. But either works well & stay in place. The sale discount from BTD makes them a good value also.

Super warm

The sale price was right. These Thermal shorts fit as great as the thermal,PI, 3/4 bib tights do. Great for the cooler weather here in the north country. The chamois is super thick and gives great comfort for however long my rides are. I've ordered a 2nd pair of the thermal,3/4 bibs. No knee warmers needed with them. PI makes great thermal clothing with a terrific chamois.

Thought I would give these a try because of ongoing chafing problems with some of my more expensive thermal and regular bibshorts, ie Giordana . Straight a ahead no frills bibshort seems to be working. Chamois is no so oversized as to cause chaffing in the crotch area. Brushed fleece and the fit is excellent and it didn't cost and arm and a leg to experiment.

I pair these with some knee/leg warmers for chilly rides. Perfect!
