Review by DarylPReviewed 9/23/2014by DarylPCycling EnthusiastSacramento,CA1 of 1 customers found this review helpful.Great gloves with nice quality workmanship. I had a pair of gloves that were old, but the pain in my hands is what made me search for a new pair. I found other reviews on these gloves to be very good, so I thought I would give them a try. Glad I did, as these are game changers. The fit was great and the quality top-notch, but it was the fact that I experienced considerably less pain when using them that made them winners. It was unreal the difference. I had to look around to get the exact pair and color that I wanted, and it was Bike Tires Direct that had them. These are the newest style and are in my opinion the very ones that others were giving high marks to. Bike Tires Direct had the red ones that I wanted and got them to me quickly. Kudos to both Pearl Izumi and Bike Tires Direct.

Review by richpenReviewed 5/23/2017by richpenCycling EnthusiastTexasComfortable and good qualityVery happy with these gloves. I intentionally chose the XL size and this worked out well. Each time I put them on they are a tad loose but after riding in the heat of Texas they fit fine. They are comfortable and look good.

Review by jmdanielReview for Pearl Izumi 2013 Men's Select GloveReviewed 9/14/2013by jmdanielCycling EnthusiastAustin, TX3 of 3 customers found this review helpful. Not worth the price...These lasted about three months, before some of the stitching started to pull out. I sent them back to Pearl Izumi for warranty replacement, and was sent long fingered Cyclone gel gloves as a replacement. I live in Texas, which means I wear long fingered gloves like... never? Rather than waste more of my time, I'm keeping the replacement gloves to use when riding my motorcycle, and won't buy PI gloves again. Lifetime warranties are only as good as they are executed...

Review by TadReview for Pearl Izumi 2013 Men's Select GloveReviewed 8/2/2013by TadCycling EnthusiastStillwater, MN1 of 1 customers found this review helpful.Very good glovesThey were on sale so I added them to my collection of bike gloves. I was anxious to try them after seeing all the negative reviews about the under wrist closure. For me, they are very comfortable. I really like the fact that when wiping my face and mouth the closure is out of the way on bottom and not scratching my face. I will now only buy gloves with this new under the wrist closure.

Meade, MD1 of 1 customers found this review helpful.I'm always please with Pearl products and this is no exceptionYou can't go wrong with these. My last pair finally wore out after many years of complete abuse, so I treated myself to a new pair. These fit and feel great and I love the color selection. Don't waste your money on a cheap pair. For just a couple of dollars more you get these Pearls.

Review by WudmanReview for Pearl Izumi 2013 Men's Select GloveReviewed 7/26/2012by WudmanCasual CyclistIllinois1 of 1 customers found this review helpful.Okay as spares and for short rides, but spend more for something eles.I am a casual trail rider and these are probably better for your grocery store runs. Two issues that stepped right up. First the seem on the wrist tends to irritate my smallish hands and the clasp. which is on the underside, is less handy if you want to loosen them while riding. I can also feel the attachment area.
I don't think they even need the clasp as they fit snugly. Maybe a larger size would have suited me better, but then I see that being sort of sloppy in the palm.
Speaking of the palm, these gloves are skimpy on the padding. Then again it probably is a case of buy on a budget, get budget padding. At least for me, the padding on the top of the palm, could have been a bit closer to the fingers.
On the okay side of things, the backside is well vented. I cut out all the tags inside which are huge. That made them fit a lot better.

Riding in the Florida heat I go through a lot of gloves. I get more mileage out of these Pearl Izumi Selects than other brands. Colors remain vibrant after many hours in the sun and machine washings. They're comfortable with just the right amount of padding where it's needed. Construction and sizing are top notch. I prefer the under the wrist closure too.

Review by AnonymousReview for Pearl Izumi 2013 Men's Select GloveReviewed 8/31/2010by AnonymousCasual Cyclist5 of 6 customers found this review helpful.decent gloves, good valueJust started using these. The padding has a different arrangement than I'm used to - I had been using 15 year old full-padded palms - so I'm getting used to that, but the padding isn't overly thick, so its not a big deal. They're comfortable to wear, well-ventilated, and the white color I chose is very bright- great for signalling. I like them.
