I love these shorts as they have very good compression and are very comfortable for long century rides on hot days. I initially bought one pair to try and about a month later bought another pair. These are my go to short for the summer.

The shorts are comfortable for a range of distances. 20 to 50 miles is my sweet spot for rides but I expect comfort to continue for up to centuries. Sizing is accurate, the large works well in the 180 to 200 pound range. Be aware, these are low-rise shorts with the waist line at the hips. I would have given five-stars if the waist was mid-rise.

I continue to make this model of PI shorts my go to short. Very comfy and durable. Chamois is wicky and keeps me dry. Fit seems to run a little large.

As usual with PI, these are well-made, quality shorts. However, either they have changed their sizing or I got a mislabeled pair of shorts I have worn medium PI shorts for a decade and I still have several other pairs of medium PI shorts that fit me fine, but these shorts in medium are uncomfortably tight. I am resorting to washing them 10 times to see if they will relax and loosen up a bit. These shorts are more expensive than what I usually buy, so the results are disappointing.

These shorts are a great investment for comfort on longer rides and based upon experience with other similar IP apparel items, will last many riding seasons. The sizing was however small based upon other styles of Pearl Izumi shorts I currently wear.

I purchased these specifically for a recently completed cycling challenge in the Italian Alps. They performed very well, with no chaffing, rubbing or moisture issues.

I've been riding in Elite's for several years, and love them. While the shammy stayed the same (thank goodness!), this years' model has some nice changes. The In-R-Cool lining is very comfortable, and seems to wick better than my older shorts. Pearl also took out the drawstring, which IMO, was always completely useless on a pair of spandex shorts. Have been on rides of over 80miles with the new shorts, the last in high humidity and 90F temps, and been more comfortable than in the past.

I use these short for rides 60 plus miles, sometimes over a century ride. Great fitting and comfortable.

I decided to splurge on a high-priced pair of shorts. Glad I picked these. They're very comfortable and significantly delay the on-set of a sore tush.

Perfect for the Texas Gulf Coast climate. Great fit. Highly recommended.

I have several pair of these. They are fantastic cycling shorts the padding is perfect, they look great are well made and the price is in the ball park, even if you don't catch a sale! PI makes great products!

Peal Izumi Elite In-R-Cool shorts are an excellent product for the cycling enthusiast. I average about 400 miles per month and am very satisfied with these shorts. They are very well made and comfortable, with the chamois in the correct position for your sit bones. In the past, I had purchased entry level cycling shorts, thinking that there wasn't a significant difference in quality. The bottom line is that your get what you pay for in cycling apparrel and the Elite shorts are a significant improvement in comfort and quality. And if are patient you watch for sales and product closeouts, you can usually find these shorts at a reduced price. Regardless, the Pearl Izumi Elite In-R-Cool shorts are worth every penny.

These shorts are just as they claim. I have five pair. Have had no problem with them at all.

I wore these shorts for the first time on a 80 km ride (50 miles). This was the first of a longer ride this season so my backside was not exactly seasoned yet. These shorts were more than comfortable and cool enough. I will be wearing these shorts on my upcoming Century ride. I purchased the black with white and, as a bonus,they look great with my black and white jersey
