I bought these to replace high end Castelli marathon shorts that fell apart after 10 washes.

The fit has been a pleasant surprise as the chamy is more comfortable than the Castelli's they replaced (and these shorts were [$] each). I particularly like where the seems are located in the rear - a lot different that most of the shorts out there. I usually ride between 50-70 miles a day and the seem placement is a big deal for me. Check it out.

My only concern is that they hold up and don't fall apart as the material seems a little light. Plus I wish they had a drawstring - particularly needed if the material begins to stretch. But so far so go - and I am waiting for the Black/Red shorts to be restocked so I can buy more.

Well made good materials and a great fit.

I ride 5 to 6 days a week year round.

I'm 66 and I have rode 4800 miles this year.

The padding is exceptionally well formed, no uneven pressure points. Ventilation and coolness are superb. They keep the shape after several thousand miles

I am 6' 1 tall and weigh 180 lbs. (although I have gone up to 190 lbs. in some years). I'd say that my thighs are average size - not skinny and not overly large. I like my shorts to fit snugly but without feeling like they're being overly tight or stretched out. I've purchased Pearl Izumi bike shorts the past twenty years and always purchase size XL. Based on reviews elsewhere, I wondered if I should purchase L (Large) this time. I'm happy that I purchased XL as usual. Size XL fits me perfectly just as they've fit the past twenty years. This time, I purchased shorts with white accents just to add some flair. They look and feel great. I've purchased higher grade Pro model shorts in the past. I've only been wearing these Elite In-R-Cool shorts for a couple of months now but think that they fit and feel like the more expensive Pearl Izumi shorts that I've worn in past years. I purchased them from Biketiresdirect at a great price. I'm happy with my purchase.

Great fit, panels facilitate movement. 3D chamois is perfect amount of padding, supportive not bulky. In-R-Cool fabric does a terrific job managing moisture.

I ride over 6,000 miles each year. That's a lot of time in the saddle. As soon as I switched to the R-Cool short the riding comfort was so much better. At 6' 3 and 235 lbs my behind takes quite a pounding. These shorts are all I want to put on these days. Makes my other riding shorts obsolete. My only regret is I didn't go with these shorts sooner. A bit more money but well worth it.

I ride about 5 days a week and these are my go to shorts for rides over 50 miles. The pad is very comfortable which helps on longer rides. The elastic in the legs holds up your legknee warmers if you need them on cooler days. I have a couple pair of these shorts and I find them to be very durable and have not stretched out. The black color has started to fade a little on my older pair but they still fit great.

Snug fit, but appropriately so. Will keep it lasting longer. Excellent quality. Decent chamois.

Seems to be the same great Pearlizumi quality, but they seem to have shrunk their shorts a 12 to 34 of a size. A medium used to fit me perfectly and now it's a bit snug. Wish they wouldn't have changed the sizing because now I'm inbetween sizes.

I bought these for a 118 mile ride on rural highways. I wanted a better short than the PI Attacks which are good up to a metric century. The temperature was in the mid 80s and these provided the comfort I had hoped for.

First ride was a 30 miler with this shorts. No problems. Comfortable thicker pad. Almost ordered another pair when I got home.

Fits perfectly and comfortable however one of the seams is splitting.

Great shorts. They run small. I'm a 34 inch waist and needed XL.

Use it for rides up to 4 hr. I like everything about these shorts. One of the best shorts I've ever ridden in, with over40 years of hard riding experience.

With 30 years of biking these are absolutely the best cycling shorts I have worn.

This is my second pair. My first pair is in the shorter length and is one reason I like these shorts so much. When I ordered my second pair, I assumed it would be the same length. My second pair is now my second most favorite pair.

Runs smaller then my previous Elite
