The PI Attack short is good ! And I am a long-time, over 30 years, rider. So I am very very particular about what I wear and the equipment I use. My old brand of shorts all "gave-out"...so I decided to go back to Pearl Izumi, particularly for their new Leviate chamois . I think it is excellent !

And so many other brands, never say much about their chamois, or even show you a picture of them in their listings or advertising. To me, this a major mistake ...or maybe they just don't care.

Also, the Attack short is a very good value, priced right, from Bike Tires !

The fit is tight, so be aware...but the support is very good.

I also ride with the Pro short..which is even a bit more better. Also very tight, but good !

My waist ranges from 42"- 43", so I bought XXL, and it was way too loose. I have an older pair of Attack shorts with the same size guide, and I bought XL. They're a bit tight but provide some good compression. If the size guide puts you close to the limit of 2 sizes, I'd recommend going for the smaller. Most of my rides are about 25 road miles on flat land.

I'm 5'11 185 ish, I wear Lrg in the Pro Bibs. I wanted regular bike shorts to wear on my indoor trainer.. After reading the reviews on the Attack shorts I felt like I should order them in XL... That was a mistake. They're not so big that I can't wear them but they certainly don't fit as snug as I prefer. Perhaps those people saying how small they run might not be as familiar with PI'S fit. Long story short. if u wear lrg in PI bibs get lrg in the Attack shorts. and for cross brand frame of reference I wear XL bibs from Castelli & Assos. Hope this is useful

My very first pair of biking shorts! Awesome and surprised of these comfortable biking shorts!

Of course, they're Pearl Izumi, that makes a difference due to the quality design and fit! For comfort!

I'm a 32-33 waste and the large fit pretty well, medium that I ordered last year is way too tight.

First pair of Attack Shorts and very happy with the comfort and fit.

Runs small. I ordered my usual size medium (I am 5'7' and 165 lbs) and they are a tight fit (a little too tight). I would recommend a large.

shorts are nice; however, been wearing Pearl Izumi shorts and tights for years, over 20. Have always ordered medium, this time around medium was way too small. Was able to send them back and get large.

Everything stays put, and nothing binds. Using these daily, so I'm going to need to get another pair.
