I have always felt that park tool is the best, most reliable quality there is out there when it comes to bike tools. I've heard others mention other brands, but to me, park tool all the way. Never had any issues with the brand, and still have older tools from them that I use to get on Amazon before discovering BTD.

Great tool for cutting cable and housing
I use this exclusively to cut my cable and housing. Nice clean cuts when use properly. Be sure to place the cable and housing down in the base of the cutting surface and use good firm quick pressure when cutting.
