Cleans the chain well with little effort. The magnet assembly will break early on and the closing clamps will go too. I've tried other products and they are worse. buying one of these every 9-12 months is a reasonable cost.

I have used the Park Tool cm-5 chain cleaner several times now and once you get the hang of the device it meets it claims. A little tricky keeping the chain from jumping all over the cassette, but once I was able to balance the tool and let it do the work the finished product was a sparkling chain. Bravo on the product!

This is my 3rd CM-5.2 cleaner, I lost my first one and my second was thrown away by my mother in law while she was cleaning. Totally sucks but I keep on going back to this. I wanted to get the Muc-Off one but the this one has a better reservoir for the cleaner and the parts are easily purchased in any bike store in the US for when you need a new sponge or rollers.

I have used this tool on both my road bike and my tandem (lots of chain) and it worked very well. It was easy to set up and did a really great job.
