Not perfect, but it's very versatile and it works pretty well for what it is. The only better way to protect yourself from getting splattered with rain and road spray would be to get full sized fenders. But if you ride when it's raining it's impossible to stay dry. These help considerably to minimize the amount of spray you get from your tires and splash from the road.

XL was a bit big. Would order the smaller version as a replacement.

It's lightweight, easy to install & it's keeping the mud from flinging into my eyes this winter. It stays on my bike on the rack on the back of my car while driving to the trail. I did add a zip tie between the two velcro strips to keep them from sliding down the fork. Working well for ~2 months & I don't expect any drastic changes in the future.
