Well, I was skeptical but wanted something other than an old-fashioned CO2 inflator which in all respect, works but you never know your true pressure with it alone. I have been watching these small handheld rechargeable pumps and looked at reviews and tried to make an educated decision as to which one. Well, I chose this one (Muc-Off Airmach Mini Pro). I charged it, then I topped off my road bike tires prior to a ride as I knew they were down just a tad. A 700x28 from roughly 90 psi to right at 100 where I ride at went without a hitch. A great plus is the pre-set air pressure, and this thing cuts off when it hits the desired psi! So, to today as we ready for an RV trip and get out the mountain bikes! Two 29'ers and a 27.5'er with air pressure definitely down. Did I say that the mini pump was not full charge when I began pumping these!!!!! Three bars but had been used to top off two road tires. So the first bike was at like 14 psi both tires, so I went to 35 psi on both, the second bike was the 27.5'er and same ole story, roughly 14 psi per tire and went to 25 psi per tire, the last bike another 29'er and wow.....14-15 psi roughly to 35 psi each! Nope, the second tire the pump stopped at 25 psi so to the charger to finish. But that is almost 6 tires with a needed 10-20 psi per tire it had to handle. I am very happy as long as the longevity of this pump gives me the mileage a $140 mini pump should on the occasional use which I will be happy for 5-7 years. This system even comes with the easily exchangeable Schrader valve but the purplish/pink nozzle being the Presta valve connector. My only gripe, and it is vanity alone, the silicone black rubber casing should come in colors of your choosing rather than the mundane black color! Told you it was vanity only. Oh, does the pump get hot after 6 tires being inflated.......yes, but with the rubber casing no real issue whatsoever. It I assume does not have a heat shut off, but I suspect the pump battery depletes long before that becomes an issue. Buy again you ask????? Yes, if it gives me the life cycle in years I think is expected.
