First experience with presta valves as I've upgraded the tubes/tires on my Trek FX2 to use TPU tubes. This can be screwed on for a secure fit, but the issue I hit is that unscrewing it also removed the valve core and quickly flattened the tire. I've resorted to using a cheaper plastic 'press on' style adapter to top off my tires instead. Attempting to press this thing on to fill was a non-started. Maybe good in an emergency if you can keep it from removing the valve core.

I carry a mini pump with me that is good enough to get me home after a flat, but doesn't usually bring my tires up to full pressure. I keep one of these in my saddle bag, and if I'm far from home, I'll stop at a gas station and top off my tires for an easier ride home.

Had a frustrating time with the tube valves and called Erik and he knew his stuff, helped me and made my day better

Works as intended. Light weight. You should always have one in your bag, especially when traveling. Car garages tend to not have anything that fits presta.

Pretty small, so make sure you have a pocket/bag/magnet or some other way to keep track of it or you'll have a hard time finding it when you need it (or not notice it's been lost until its too late!). Just the reality of having just a small tool, but this size means it always fits in my small little tool pouch. I keep it in a tiny ziplock with my spare valvestems.

Be advised that this is a single adapter, not a pair. I was misled by the photo.
