The tire attacks corners and takes a few turns to get used to. But, once you do, WOW! Great for crit's. It does flat a bit easier than my preferred tire for a few years - Continental's Grand Prix 4000s so I am changing them out for 'everyday' training. Hope this helps!

I had Pro3's that lasted about 2,000 miles with no problems. Now they come in a color that matches my bike, everyone loves them.

We have had great results with the Pro4 tires. They handle great in all the conditions we face in Washington state. They have a great life. My current ones have well over 1k miles and do not look worn.
I bought the pink for my wife. I did find after riding in the rain they looked dirty. I was able to scrub them a little in the sink with soapy water and they had new life.

Definitely built for racing. Grippy, fast tires. But, not good for training on Minnesota's crappy roads.

I've been using Michelin ProRace tires for over ten years, ever since I purchased my Waterford 2200, which came with the original ProRace. I have always found them dependable, long lasting and resistant to flats. I've gotten as much as 7000 miles on my front tires and 4000 miles on the rear tires. My last Pro3 Race tires only provided a disappointing 2000-3000 miles, so I'm looking forward to see how these Pro4 tires turn out. I'm wondering if the compound has changed from previous tires? They are an excellent value if the mileage picks back up to what I've previously gotten.

Good deal through BTD for sure.
I have ridden and raced on Conti's, Vittoria's, Vredsteins, and Pro3's prior to buying these last winter prior to team camp in LA.
Let me tell you that there is currently no suppler, more impressive ride out there in the clincher world that I am aware of. I've used these for climbing/descending and for crits and road races, and have enjoyed the road feel throughout.
I feel like these tires are grippier than most, but also confidence building in the descents. I've enjoyed these immensely, and look forward to trying them out on new wider rims this fall.

Purchased these tires at a sale price! What a GREAT tire at an even better price! These are excellent tires in terms of ride comfort, quality of construction and durability. I ride about 140 miles per week on average to poor roads and they hold up very well.

What a deal! I have been using this tire since I got my bike 5 years ago because the light blue goes perfectly with it. They hold up really well. I got a pretty good deal I thought then saw them the next week for even less. Sent an email and was sent a credit for the difference! WTG biketiresdirect! You rock!

The tire mounts up easily, corners very well, and feels fast. I like the profile-the 23mm is just a slight bit narrower than typical 23mm tires. Seems a slight bit taller too. More attractive than the previous Pro 2 and Pro 3 tires. Really great looking and riding tire. I have had not flats and the tires seem to be wearing well-I have about 500 miles on them.

The Pro4 Service Course is my event tire. I train on conti 4000's, but I have to give the edge to the Michelin's in speed. The ride quality is pretty good - especially mounted on my wider DA rims. I'm able to run them at 95-100 lbs to smoothe out rougher pavement. The conti's still win on the durability front. If you want a fast, great handling tire that has better durability than Vittoria, this is it.

Used for training rides and the Santa Fe Century. Tires run smooth and quiet with good cornering. If stickers are an issue, tire liners and/or tube liquid is a good idea..

The silky ride and fantastic grip that I liked in the Pro 3 continues on with Pro 4. However, one of the tires I recently got split at the rim line after 60 or so miles of riding. Clearly, this was a manufacturing defect that is perhaps due to the shift of production from France to Asia. I contacted BTD and explained the problem. A replacement was promptly shippped. Hopefully, this defect is an isolated case.

After deciding to buy the Zipp 404 Carbon Clincher wheel, I needed to shop for a tire. Being relatively new to road cycling I had no previous first hand experience with any tire brand (except for the tires that accompanied the bike). I decided not to go cheap and not to go over the top with some exotic make or model. Realizing how much I love the Michelin Sport tires on my BMW, I decided to stick with the Michelin brand. Fortunately these tires come in several colors, and the red one matched my Specialized Roubaix beautifully.
I have since done high speed descents from 4000 feet along curvy roads with relative ease. The tires grip well and provide low rolling resistance. They have even been used in light rain, but during an uphill stretch which is not as demanding as a high speed descent. But the tires maintained a solid and confident grip.
In the future I may be able to compare them against other highly regarded makes and models, but for now I find nothing lacking in them at all. They also happen to be perfectly color coordinated with the red firecrest emblem on the Zipps and the redblack paint scheme of the bike.

Avid road cyclist. Used in dry conditions on county and back roads.
Provides a very comfortable ride, good (low) rolling resistance on descents. Feels secure when cornering. One rear flat after almost 2,000 miles - I simply patched the tube, as I did not find any damage or puncture through the tire, and resumed riding the tire without difficulty. When available on sale, represents very good value.
I have ridden Continental, Vittoria, and Specialized tires in recent years. The Michelin Pro 4 Service Course is my favorite.

I recently built my 2012 Giant Defy Advanced (frame up), wanting it to be great at both comfortendurance and speed training. So I researched many many tire reviews looking for the right fit. The Michelin Pro4 Service Course tires delivered. I've put in three century rides along with a few hard urban street rides. On some wicked fast corners the tires performed incredibly well. They provide confidence when needed. On the long hauls they've been exceedingly comfortable, however still roll efficiently with little perceived change in speed from my race tires (btw, my michelins are 25mm). If you catch these on sale, and you need an exceptional all around tire, by all means buy them. PS, I have less than 600 miles, so I can't attest to durability, but so far so good...and no flats!

Love these tires. Have been riding with them for years. Outstanding feel and tackiness on descents. Wouldn't use anything else. Perhaps prone to a bit more flats.

I have ridden on Michelins for years. The pro4 is a huge improvement over the pro3. The tire seems much more durable than the 3 and also feels incredibly grippy in the corners. As tested on the twisty descent of Mt. Diablo. Also, with all the colors to choose from, its some pretty cool bling to spice up your bike's looks.
