2nd set that i have ordered have had no issues
Review by bryanmacb
Had 2 flats in 2 months on a route Ive ridden years with little issue on Conti gp4000s. Great performance, volume and ride but durability really ins't there for me. Maybe just bad luck but both flats did a good bit of damage to the tire where I had to patch tire from inside or discard. And in both instances, I didn't see anything on the road justifying the large punctures. I've since changed to the Pro4 endurance with no flats so far and hardly any noticeable performance loss. If you can pick these up on sale, ride very clean roads or for a race day tire, go for it..

I've ridden a lot of tires over the years. some maybe quicker (maybe) and some bullet proof but for everything, not a better tire out there. They roll so well and the comfort level is unsurpassed. Even when I messed up a tire mount from leaking tube, the Pro4 is so good. Doubt I will ever buy another brand.

A great tire for my road bike. I made a great difference in the bike's handling! It seems to be wearing very well!

Good tire for the price and they wear fairly well. I use these more for a training tire. Buy them if they are on sale.

I used the Pro3's and then started using these Pro4's. Great tires! Light weight. Smooth rolling. I run 25's at around 70 psi. They are easy to install. Very happy with these tires.

Got a pairr of Pro4's in a 28 mm size for my cyclocross bike. Over time, this bike is more of a winter bad weather tow bike for a trail-a-bike, so having a comfy slick tire looked like a good option.
In addition, I signed up for my first competitive gravel event this year, and these looked like a much better choice than running a set of Ritchey cross tires for grass races.
I am impressed by these tires, which only cost $64 for the pair. They are supple, grippy and did really well on a rough gravel surface. I think I scored buying these tires, no regrets at all.

Have been using these tires for the past 3 seasons exclusively. I've changed them out after 1600-1800 miles. Minimal number of flats. Can't beat the price, especially when they show up on the Daily Speccial. I'm about ready to put on my third set.

Good all around tire

I use this as an everyday tire. I run it at 100 lbs and I find it very reliable in terms of punctures. I have used Continentals, Hutchinsons, Schwalbe and Vittoria's and they don't beat the reliability of this tire.

I use this tire on my carbon road bike. I ran my first set together and recently had to replace the rear tire. I can say that the best feature of this tire was the way it felt on the road. It felt supple and fast. The feeling against the road made it seem like every pedal stroke wasn't being wasted from friction and being put into putting the bike forward. It was definitely an improvement over the Specialized Espoir and Continental Gatorskins that I have used before.
The only quip I had about the tire was its durability. I put on a pair of these tires at the same time and after about 900 miles, the rear tire started to have constant punctures and the tread was significantly flat. However, I'm still running the front tire and seems to have no wear on it.
Overall, I'd totally recommend these tires to anyone who wants a great feeling tire for a good price.

After reading several articles about 25mm tires vs. 23mm tires I ordered these and mounted them on my bike. I'll never go back to 23mm tires. This is a much more comfortable ride with no noticeable downside. I'm a 71 year old recreational rider who logs about 80 miles a week in 20 mile rides on a steel Independent Fabrication frame. No more harsh bumps from the 23mm tires.

This is a good road tire for Oregon backroads that are often chip sealed. Comfortable ride and reasonable endurance on our often wet backroads.
