I'm using this tire as a daily commuter and it's pretty darn good, especially considering the price. It mounted on the rim nicely, has a nice tread pattern but rolls pretty easily. I have this on the front where it grips nicely with good braking. I've had it in service for about three months and in that time seen glass and other debris, plus a surprise rain and been very happy with it's performance. So happy in fact I've been thinking of getting a second one for the rear wheel. The sidewall stripe you see in the photo is also reflective and pretty good if a bit narrow.

I'm only a month in, so this review is about initial impressions not longevity.
First, the review that claimed these tires are wider than advertised wasn't true in my case. They were the exact width as advertised.
Second, I'm a bike commuter in Seattle, putting a couple thousand miles on my tires every year. The bontragers I'm replacing lasted 20 months and 3000 miles. I had only one flat the whole time. Very impressed! I replaced with these Michelins and am very happy so far. They grip well. They've handled potholes, water, and curbs quite well too. The reflective strip is great (although I wish it were wider).
No flats yet. Hopefully I'll update after some real miles.

The summer of 2012 the bike I toured in had a Michelin tire on it that I had such success with that this summer I chose to go for Michelins front and back for a west coast (Oregon) to east coast (long island) tour.
The front tire held up good, but I wet through two 700c 32 on the rear. Each tire split between the reflective wall and the wire thread in multiple places, simply too much weight. I weigh about 166lbs and the fully loaded Bridgestone with front and back saddles weighed about 80lbs I'd say.
The tire is not made for heavy weight touring, the second tire literally split and I heard the tube explode. Each rear tire made it about 180miles...each.
The tread remained really well, but the tire can't handle much weight.

I use these tires on the Wabash Trace. They hold up well with crushed limestone and old wooden bridges.

All tires shoudl come with a reflective side wall. If you ride in the city, you need these.

I'm really liking these tires and feel like I'm getting my dollar's worth, very durable, responsive and have a nice roll to them
I ride through some heavy traffic at times and there's a lot of construction going on around town, I've ridden through broken glass and all kinds of random debris with no problem
I also like the reflective sidewalls a lot, helps me be seen at night
Cheers

I picked these up because the racing tires that came with my bike weren't doing the trick on the rough and poorly-maintained streets of Detroit. Haven't had one flat since I got these, and I have a lot more traction and stability. Would recommend to anyone riding a road bike on poorly maintained roads.

Me and my wife do lots of bike trails. These tires are a smooth ride. Now I just need to see if they pass the test of time.

We use these tires on the Wabash Trace for about 600 milesyear. They don't seem bothered by the walnut hulls, or branches that get on the trace. We rode one evening after a rain storm and the tires handled the slick spots well. Great tire at a great price.

This tire provides a smooth ride, its tough and durable and has a reflective strip that comes in handy during late night hours. You can't go wrong with Michelin tires.

I ride the country roads in the Upstate of South Carolina and NE Georgia, some tough on tires others smooth rides, but all are isolated and require a reliable tire. This Michelin City Tire does the job, keeps me rolling and gets me home safe. Rides are most often 50 miles or less, no long hauls yet on these tires.

Purchased the 700x32 for my steel frame touring bike. Replaced the original tires that came with the bike. Ride only on pavement (city streets and country roads). The original tires were very difficult to install after fixing a flat. I had read in reviews that These tires were very easy to put on, which I found to be true. Good valve and ride smooth. I ride 75 to 100 miles a week. Puchased tires in August so have about 700 miles and no problems. Only wish they ran at a higher pressure to reduce rolling resistance. Otherwise very happy.

Bought two, mounted front wheel first, waiting for current rear wheel tire to need replacing.

My wife and I have Hybreds(several years)and still had the original tires on them. We were out trail riding(paved)and my wife hit something and the tube blew right thru the tire....time for new tires! Googled bike tires and checked several sites before settling with this site. Have Michelins on one of our cars so decided to outfit the bikes with the same and am VERY Pleased! They are one size narrower than the originals and the reduced frictiondrag is very noticeable as I am actually coasting in areas on the trail that I'd normally be peddling! Have 5lbs less than the max which is providing a smoothsoft ride yet are Faster than the old tires. Have about 100 miles on them now and am TOTALLY Pleased with our Michelin Cities and with the overall purchase expierenceprice!!

Anyone remember the Winter of 2008 up in the Northwest?
This San Diego guy will never forget it.
(Though Arctic Blast was a bit added drama from the Portland weather stations.)
On my move to Vancouver, WA, my car gave out and I was left alone with my tour bike to face their worst Winter in 40 years. I bought these tires (700X32's) upon arrival in August and commuted almost exclusively by bike through the rain, wind, ice, and snow until the following Summer when I finally had a car again.
Pushing anywhere from 13-50 miles a day, these tires man-handled the nasty roads of Vancouver, carrying me, my daily things, and often a respectable load of groceries. They never whined, whimpered, or complained, and even after a couple years had gone by, they were cracking their knuckles and ready for more.
I couldn't have chosen a better tire at such a great price to face that time of my life.
Are they ugly? Yes.
Are they heavy? Absolutely.
Are they sexy in anyway? Not so. They don't wear V-necks and know nothing of manscaping.
They look like something the local mechanic would throw on your bike to get you by.
Indeed, though not elegant or sexy, they are seriously tough, burly, blue collar, they take their coffee black, and they get the job done. As soon as you pick one up you wonder, What sort of barbaric weapon could penetrate this?
I will say that I did get one flat, and I do me ONLY one. However, when I looked at what I ran over over (a long skinny spear of glass at just the wrong angle), it reminded me of when one of the soldiers in The Two Towers managed to somehow stick an arrow past the armor of the Orcs before the battle of Helm's Deep...or so a geeky friend of mine who watches that stuff has told me.
But don't get me wrong, for heavy brute touringcommuter tires, they move nicely and provide a smooth ride.
Anyway, after many more miles with other higher-end diva tires, including a bike tour down the coast (4 flats total), I just now bought myself a new pair of these and am looking forward to once again forgetting how to fix a flat.

I use this tire for touring which exposs the tire to some of the worst varying road conditions a cyclist will run into with a heavily loaded bike. The tire has great puncture resistance (no tire is impermeable). It runs smooth and wears evenly giving me equal of better than mileage then other tires I have run. This is a great value at the price offered.

It was pretty easy to get on my 700C x 32C wheels and has worked great. I have a couple hundred miles on it already and no flats, unlike with the tire it replaced.

I ride about 4500 miyr and normally have to change tires every 1500 mi. With these, I got 6000 mi on the rear and 9000 on the front (700 x 28). Now that I've said that, watch them jack the price up.
